@saqhra That was the original planned date for 2009. It took a very long time to compose and produce this album, hence such a wait. It comes out on November 18, 2011. They were working on it since 2008 I believe.

I can't wait for this album. I love their first two albums so much! I did enjoy Starfall too, but I wasn't a massive fan of Astronomy. I've wanted to hear more of this story for a long time.

I just love their fantasy themed songs, they tell a story each albums. Astronomy was their best album when it's about the songs only, but I missed the story there. I'm glad that they are back to the story telling again :D

@MagnaThor you obviously haven't listened to their first two albums, released in 2001 and 2002 respectively. I group Astronomy with Bloodbound's Tabula Rasa. good albums by all means, but missing what really brought me to the band at made me stick with them.

I like the albums you mentioned, Astronomy, Tabula Rasa, and other works from Tad Morose and Manticora. That sort of Power Metal is of my like. Can you recommend something like that? I have also tried Anubis Gate, pretty damn good.

I have to admit when I first watched this video, I wasn't a very big dragonland fan. Now, a week later, I've got their entire discography on my iPod and although I really like this, I agree with others when they say that this doesn't necessarily match up to Astronomy or Starfall (idk peeps I might like starfall better than astronomy, I'm not familiar enough yet)

Man... I got goosebumps listening to something like this. The guitars are generic, no one can deny that. But what makes this song so epic is the symphony and choir in the background, and how the vocals can change tone so smoothly and efficiently throughout the song.

A lot of good stuff is coming out this year for symphonic metal fans of all kinds, seeing as so many albums are out already that we can't get enough of.

I'm liking this. I got into them by hearing Contact first but I enjoyed their two story albums as well. Seems like they're going to use what they learned with Starfall and Astronomy to refine their story telling sound. Awesome. Hope they tour in the US next year!

I feel exactly the same. The song is good, really up to the average, but Astronomy was THAT special, refreshing, and gave a breath to power / melodic metal. So, once the song sound much more traditional power, it looks like a step behind. They went away the limits with astronomy, now they're back inside it. However, this is a great song.
