@anne30688 I found the perfect way to do that. You need to Google "Rubber Stamp Carving Tips by Kirbert." The page shows a sample stamp of an airplane. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a bullet list index. Click on "Transfer the image to the stamp blank." You'll find out how do transfer both laser and inkjet printed images. I have an inkjet printer at home. I tried the technique (using parchment paper) and it worked GREAT.
I loved the gear stamp you used in your last video so I had to come check this out...! You make it LOOK easy! I never thought it would be something i'd want to try but..., oh, well, i'm still trying to collect for my venture into the journaling phase. But it was sure fun to watch you. that gear either as a die, stamp or whatever just climbed up my list somee! Thank you.
HEHE i remember doing this in High School. We used Linoleum tiles and they were awesome. I made Master Yoda and a collage piece. its a pretty HUGE stamp hehe. All i need now is to buy a brayer. tfs
Interesting! I love making my own stamping to cause a times commerial stamping is alil too much...I was think to create my stamping with polymer clay...haven't try it yet; but, will soon...hopefully, but anyway this rubber one is pretty easy and fast...I don't have to wait for the polymer clay to cook and warm-up. I will favorite this video.
I bought the same erasers months ago for the same exact reason... (and at a dollar store!) sooo funny. I have yet to make time to play, I have several different pieces and a nice tool with the extra tips and everything. I just gotta sit down and do it! Thanks for the great little tutorial! :D
I've been wanting to try this since I started art journaling a couple years ago. Thanks for taking some of the mystery out of it. Maybe now I'll actually give it a try. :)
Very cool! Thanks for doing this tut P... I've been looking out for this! hehe! Can't wait to give this a try. I've been wanting a custom butterfly stamp. :-) TFS! -Ar'
This is awesome! I am like Mary, now I want to go get the supplies to make rubber stamps... :) I love this and I am gonna have to try it out in the near future.
