UKIP never talk about the real issue concerning Europe and that is this:
Europeans come here from say portugal, they get benefits, housing and are taught English. A Brit goes to Portugal and gets zilch! YOU won't get any money, any housing and you won't be taught Portuguese, if you can't speak tough! Go back to the UK.
EUROPE ONLY WORKS ONE WAY, not for the BRitish, but for the Poles and Portuguese.

noeuro, PLEASE WAKE UP!!! If it wasn't for EU legislation, many of the 1980's employment laws that protect the disabled would never have been passed under the Tories. Many safety regulations wouldn't ever have been incorporated into UK law either, things that reduce workplace accidents and fatalities. Don't you think that's worth anything? You probably don't.

Moving toward the 20th century, most countries in the civilised world improved their health and safety legislation. They didn't need to be part of the EU. It was just common sense.
And in terms of the social state, Britain ENGINEERED the social state, in spite of what was happening on the continent, so please don't talk to me about how the EU is responsible for improving that area of our lives.

UKIP wants Parliament at the heart so we can trade freely - which is actually what the EU was set up to aid - and still works towards, free trade within the EU removing physical, fiscal (e.g. by bringing in the Euro) and technical (e.g. removing passport control) barriers - its mainly the UK resisting this freedom (we have refused to accept either of the above examples)
