@Ceptor5665 I took vocal lessons for five years and some of them focused on expanding my range. It happens anyway if you train very hard or perform on a regular basis. For me it was a combination of "all of the above".

@Pushtakit Well, 3.5 octaves is pretty damn impressive! As Eyal kindly stated 4 days ago, singing RnL's arrangements has brought my lowest note from E (under the F cleff) down to B. When I count I include my falsetto (I don't know if it's the right way to measure this...), with which I am fortunate enough to complete a little more than 4 octaves smoothly, and above that, the notes begin to gradually sound less and less coherent, so it would not be wise to use them except as sound FX. :-)
