i dont mean to be hater but do girls really spend this much time and effort on how they look just so they can look like copies of each other? Aside from what you might be assuming, im not some ugly chic who doesn't take care of herself. I have long hair past my hips and I just cant imagine going through this everyday. USing all these products in your hair makes it end up looking dry and like a broomstick...sorry...my opinion. I just think that everyone is so caught up in looking the same. Curls!

@boxerpuppieluver7 Thanks. I got that from my dad. I had an opportunity to get it fixed. The pain and recovery is not worth it to me. I was born like this. I am not in pain. Some people like it. Some don't. I will just stay with it :)

thanks for the tips. i have a question, and based on your knowledge on these tools and and your beautiful hair. i have bought 3 or 4 tools you suggested, but i want to see if you had any comments on the amika hair curlers that have tourmaline barrels. That should be good for your hair, right. i have to enzo milano 1" thats great, but i need something for smaller curls, i bebating between the inverted cone by le angelique or the amika curler. i would really appreciate your feed back. thanks!!

@SweetPuso I don't press it on my hair. I am looking at my hair right now-It's not damaged. If you try this look, wear a heat protectant in your hair and pass the iron over ONCE. :)

The straightener I have right now I've had for about a year or so and it just started to have a weird burning smell that transfers to my hair. Does anyone know what is wrong? It's a great straightener, but I think I'll just go and buy another one anyways.

Iris! Do you think silicones are really that bad and should i avoid them 100%. About this time last year, i started avoiding all silicones and i noticed that it limited my choice of hair products by alot. plus the products with silicones make my hair smooth and its normally really dry and frizzy. i might use silicones again like in shine serums or anti frizz creams because there arent many products without silicone.
