Or you have good Karma. You need neutral karma. If you Karma is too high, go hack into an owned terminal a few times until it balances out. :)

Now, followers are cool. But, can you heal them? Can you give them chems and stimpacks in their inventory and will they use them when needed? I haven`t traveled with a follower yet. I`m afraid they will get wacked in a stupid battle with a giant rad scorp or deathclaw. People tend to die around me.

@oldphoque u can give dogmeat a stimpack but if they die there dead its gay like that and all others heal after combat

You can't heal rl-3 (but he's a mini-tank so who cares) and without broken steel his health is capped at level 9, WITH broken steel he levels with the player

doesnt matter wat lvl, protector is leaning more towards Good, so u have to steal some stuff to get neutral, steal too much u bcome evil. simple as that

P.S. i shot the RL-3 robot with 3 fat mans and 6 missile's and he was still at half health (I WISH I COULD BUY HIM) :-)

Not reallly, once you find everything its kinda boring, I've explored every corner of the world and done nearly every side quest you get bored and wander the wasteland aimlessly or get blood thirsty and kill everyone you see (The second path is fun, very fun!)

Actually, RL-3 doesn't leave if you get higher or lower karma after you hire him. If you fire him with 'good' or 'bad' karma, though, I think you'll have to go back to Neutral.

well i don't think people give RL-3 the credit he is due.

when i was rescuing reilly's rangers and i first went into the hospital, for some reason he spawned in the lobby, worried that he would die, i got there as fast as i could and when i finally arrived he had killed 3 super mutants, a centaur and 2 brutes without even falling below half his health.

yeah, followers health does regenerate. you can also give them stimpacks to heal themselves.
