@TheXxx4444 It was to show that Jason was "flushed out" from the evil, kind of meaning that Jason was free. If you think that was bad, you should have seen the idea to the original ending. BRUTAL!!
this song is good but however in 1989 this movie (Jason Takes Manhattan) wasn't the biggest hit at the box office in fact this movie was the last under the Paramount name before New Line took over but even though fans and critics panned it badly however to me it was the most cooloest and funniest horror movie I've seen in my life
@MrGrunge1991 From what I've heard, originally Jason Takes Manhattan was going to be a much bigger film than it turned out to be. It was going have scenes in all sorts of iconic places in New York City like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center.
@Monster66709 To the people who like it it's a distinctly catchy 80s AOR type song
that technically has well structured melody and instrumentation and it comes from a soundtrack a mediocre movie. But it captures the Friday 13th movies well just like "Man Behind the Mask" by Alice Cooper did. I like the movie, but people remember the movie as a bomb of the series and consequently the song stands out as the only thing good. So you get a lot of fans looking for it.
The album is called Power of the Night by a band called Metropolis. I've actually got it and it's fucking amazing, this song ended up not even being my favorite on the album. There are a couple copies on eBay right now for $25, which I'd jump on if you're looking for it, I've never seen it for sale before right this minute. They're sealed, though, and it's kind of a waste to open them, but the album rocks.
@IdolInternational At the end of the film as the credits roll, it clearly shows that this song is sung by Peter Fredette. Is he part of the group Metropolis?
HAPPY SOON TO BE BIRTHDAY JASON. SORRY I COULDNT GET YOU A PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ^.^. i hate to say this but i think jason was kind of cute in part 3
