This is another favorite scene of mine in the series. Clark earlier learns that Lana's wish is to see the view of Metropolis from atop the Windmill in Chandler's Field. In this closing scene, Clark fulfills her wish. The combination of "U2's" backscore, on-location filming, and the camera pull-out technique, together with Clark/Lana in yet another classic scene pairing, make this one a gem of a video. This couple rates among the top all-time screen matchups, imo. "Scoop"
I love this episode and this scene puts a cherry on top of it all. I love how carefree they seem in this scene. It was great to see them become friends over the course of season 1 & building to more later on. Love Clana Forever. :)

And that's exactly what we saw in Smallville. LOIS persuaded Clark to join football team. LOIS persuaded Clark to start working in Daily Planet. Clark was devastated when Lana "died" in Season 7. But when Clark thought that Lois died, he died with her.
I like this scene. if im not mistaken, this was from season 1 episode "spell". just an additional info for the background music that was used, it's "beautiful day" by u2.
