They were pretty good those templates, I couldn't measure any errors so I don't quite see how you can tell throught the use of the camera... I am sure you are aware that one tepmlate is smaller than the other because it tapers towards the front so you need a smaller rib... otherwise I am confused as you are LOL.
Ahhh... I see what you meant now, I started at this and to my shock at first it did look out by a LOT. But I looked at it again and realised it was more of an illution created by the pencil line which made it look as if it was not even. I just check the boat to make sure and that looks alright.
A good point looking back i should probably have made it more shallow but this is my first boat and I have just being taking it as it comes. thanks for your feedback, Alex.
Form the sound of your voice you sound like your about 14 or 15. I have to say you have a good knowledge of wood working and knowing the tricks of the trade ( belt sander on its side as sationary sander) Keep up the good work !!!
Hey thanks, yer i'm 15. I should have probably have posted another video on this by now but i've been pretty busy. Buying a stationary sander dosnt seem to make much sense in my sized workshop, they take up too much space and for the amount you spend on them i probably wouldny use it enough.
an accurate ruler lol well I should hope so

How do you take the axel of the motor trough the hull?
suomalainenvoittaa 7 months ago
@suomalainenvoittaa
You will need some kind of tube to run it through. the tube needs to be cut higher than the waterline that way the water cannot enter the boat.

XxIMMORTALxKILLERxX 1 year ago
@XxIMMORTALxKILLERxX
You'd be suprised my friend, i have had rulers which have a 2mm difference or so which does make a difference in a project.
Thanks for watching,
Alex.

Nice project Alex
I'm 16 and also into woodworking, I've thought about building an RC boat before so I'll be interested to see how yours turns out.

Nice boat. I am going to give it a try since I do this project since I don't have power tools.
