  • can you give me the link of bautekening

  • cool! but where did you get the templates from? if you got them of the internet could you give me the URL?? please?

  • @specialfxa

Just drew them on card, sadly I don't still have them but there is no real skill involved.

  • hey i want to make a boat but dont now where to get the engine/remote bits fromm if u can remmember plzz email them to ian@bavin.net thanks #

  • Good job Kicko keep it going

  • could i have those templates

  • damn. using ruler and protractor for accuracy? lol.. look at ur templates...they aint even..

  • @MrSBChevy

They were pretty good those templates, I couldn't measure any errors so I don't quite see how you can tell throught the use of the camera... I am sure you are aware that one tepmlate is smaller than the other because it tapers towards the front so you need a smaller rib... otherwise I am confused as you are LOL.

    Alex

  • @TeenWoodworker fold them in half down the middle.. or pause ur video and just stare at the bigger template...

  • @TeenWoodworker

Ahhh... I see what you meant now, I started at this and to my shock at first it did look out by a LOT. But I looked at it again and realised it was more of an illution created by the pencil line which made it look as if it was not even. I just check the boat to make sure and that looks alright.

Maybe thats the answer, Alex :-)

  • How do you take the axel of the motor trough the hull?

  • @suomalainenvoittaa

You will need some kind of tube to run it through. the tube needs to be cut higher than the waterline that way the water cannot enter the boat.

  • is' pretty good, mate!

  • send plans for ANY rc boats I can't find them anyvhere on tghe net

  • nice work !! do you have some plans for this boat model? can you please sent them at nentu_gza@yahoo.com ? thanks

  • @titialunasa

    Hi there,

Sorry dont have any plans as such, was really going from my head, usually I build furniture so this was more of an experiment.

Sorry about that, let me know if you there is anything I can help with,

    Alex.

  • what ruler isn't accurate??

  • @XxIMMORTALxKILLERxX

You'd be suprised my friend, i have had rulers which have a 2mm difference or so which does make a difference in a project.

    Thanks for watching,

    Alex.

  • @willbaguley9000

A good point looking back i should probably have made it more shallow but this is my first boat and I have just being taking it as it comes. thanks for your feedback, Alex.

  • Form the sound of your voice you sound like your about 14 or 15. I have to say you have a good knowledge of wood working and knowing the tricks of the trade ( belt sander on its side as sationary sander) Keep up the good work !!!

  • @Toolie35

Hey thanks, yer i'm 15. I should have probably have posted another video on this by now but i've been pretty busy. Buying a stationary sander dosnt seem to make much sense in my sized workshop, they take up too much space and for the amount you spend on them i probably wouldny use it enough.

  • Nice boat. I am going to give it a try since I do this project since I don't have power tools.
