Oh nice!!! Amazing singing for an amazing song. Southern Gospel is my favorite when it comes to music. Praise God for this song to, it speaks so much truth. My blessed Redeemer did this for me.
That was 'jaw droppin' great ! Oh what a awesome talent, anointed vocals, and a monumental singer that the late Tenor of all tenors was--Johnny Cook!! Oh What a Savior to give us this most gifted Tenor to the World!! Praise your nailed scarred Redeemer Johnny--enjoy all of Heaven!!
Truly a great song by a GREAT favorite of mine! I believe 3 guys "co-own" this song: Johnny Cook, Rosie Rozell, and a guy named Curtis Elkins who sang with Bob Wills and the Inspirationals from Fort Worth, Texas. I was blessed to hear each of these 3 do it in person at least 1 time each. Thanks for the post!
This sog always brings tears to my eyes. I got to see Johnny perform this song in the late seventies in Bonifay Florida during an all night Gospel Sing with all the great Gospel performers of the time. I bought the LP that night and wore it out.
Thanks for this posting Lora. This song is my favorite . Johnny is my favorite singer. I wish we still had him here to sing, But he is in that chorus in heaven and still singing, bernising
