  • are you using a harrelson mouthpiece?

  • @evanezerb1 It is a Harrelson SWE Mouthpiece from Jason's personal collection. Possibly something is the B4 range, but as the video was recorded a while back, we're not 100% sure.

  • People ask every couple days if they can purchase this trumpet.

THE HT-17 TRUMPET WAS A PROTOTYPE AND IS NOT IN PRODUCTION.

There are much better versions in production including the HT3, HT4, HT5, Bravura and Summit models!

    Thank you

  • Almost all of Jason's videos are free improvisation. Thanks!

  • What is the sone at the beginning?

  • You can use any standard shank mouthpiece on Harrelson Trumpets including all Bach, Yamaha, Schilke and most Monette mouthpieces.

I freely interchange alternate fingerings and usually don't notice. It's a habit!

  • @andrewoc / third valve is a alternate for 1-2 ... sometimes it helps when playing a trill or when 1-2 intonation is off a tad.... which is not the case with this horn.

  • why were you using third valve for A?

  • do harrelson trumpets require harrelson mouthpieces? or could you use some standard yamaha or bach?

  • sounds awesome

  • nice sound
