Where's Colonel Quaritch when you need him? Good trailer though and I really like the doomed setup but not so sure about the film. Does it seem typical of the time it is made? Agree with Aussiejed1. As it turns out, the movie may have well been set with the Nazis as enemies for all that we got to see of the enemy. All of it is oriented toward how the US marines save the planet and quite frankly, quote "Black Hawk Down" (aussiejedi1) it turned out to be a very average movie. Deleted from my playlist
The Trailer was well done to sap ppl into believeing they were going to watch an epic film.

I want some movie director to create a disaster movie that is sad, and makes you come out of the theater crying cause you feel like the world ended. and you just experienced it. I hate disaster movies with good endings... I mean really? honestly.... evetybody is gonna die in very painful and scary ways. MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT IT! haha make like a disaster/horror movie mixed.

@xNARUTOx98 . this movie was nothing more then a 90 minute marine recruiting ad / propaganda video.. the idea that a couple guys and girls in their early 20s with a couple weeks training and some high powered rifles could defeat a alien invasion force is beyond stupid, the aliens in this movie fight like dumbasses and their weapons suck, the movie marines are constantly doing things that is against SOP, and the aliens can travel star to star, but cant kill michelle rodriguez or aaron eckhart?

@101andrewj First of all I don't see how its a ad/propaganda movie when its not even based on real shit. They didn't have a couple of weeks training they have had months and years. They didn't defeat the invasion force, if you fucking noticed they won back part of the city but remember the whole world is still being invaded it only told one side of the story and the aliens fought like us? movies are entertainment, but the premise of this one is that america can defeat any and everybody, and that 900 billion dollars a year on its military isnt really a waste because they might have to use all that firepower to defeat aliens and save the world... like i said, take 5 minutes, read the deffinition of propaganda, then watch the movie again... only people who enjoy this movie are 15 year old americans who know nothing about anything military related other then what they learn from COD

Agree with Aussiejed1. As it turns out, the movie may have well been set with the Nazis as enemies for all that we got to see of the enemy. All of it is oriented toward how the US marines save the planet and quite frankly, quote "Black Hawk Down" (aussiejedi1) it turned out to be a very average movie. Deleted from my playlist
The Trailer was well done to sap ppl into believeing they were going to watch an epic film.

While I enjoy the film for what it is - a war movie, Black Hawk Down with aliens - I'm not sure it deserves such a badass trailer. If the film had been as epic as this trailer promised, it would be an instant classic.
