  • Thanks for getting back to me ;)

    looking forward your new footage.

  • Sorry about the camera swinging all around and all that shaking. I'll try to get some better videos this season. The sail is made of lightweight polytarp. Double-stick carpet tape held it together before sewing. No leach line. Next sail will have more concavity in the leach to try to control flutter. Michael Storer's OZ plans have the sail included and are wonderfully detailed. A $20 instant download from Duckworks.

  • hope that didnt' sound bad.

I do think you have a great set-up and truly would

appreciate a detail vid. what material have you used for the sail?

    thanks

  • Nice and Simple Lug Sail,

would be nice to see a good "on shore" video without the shaking.

Maybe you could do another showing the simplicity in detail.

    would be great!

    thanks

  • nice little lug for your PDR. your own plans?

  • I used Michael Storer's "Drop-in Canoe Sail Rig" for the sail and spars. The plan did not give the amount of edge rounding, etc., but he is available via e-mail and he helped me with the details.

  • @paulhelbert thank you so much for the helpful reply. cheers, Nat
