@azazp2 he doesn't have a mouth because mephiles is a form of darkness who will take peoples shapes and use it. He then uses shadow's shadow (lol) to become in fleshy form. Shadows dont have mouths. therefore mephiles has no mouth. Mephiles is not related to shadow at all!

@Sega797 Ummm... Shadow was created by Robotnick's grandfather and has nothing to do with Mephiles. Mephiles looks like shadow because when he is unleashed, he is resurrected from the first shadow he finds. Hence why he is resurrected to look like Shadow.
