  • Peace be unto all.

Love one another as I have loved you.

Holy Father John, pray to God for us.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon us.

  • святой человек!

  • Saint John Maximovitch pray for us sinners!!! IC XC.+.NI KA +++

  • He was born in Poltava, Ukraine!!! Not Russia, you tool of the Muscovites!

  • @anastunya He was born Russia. But today it is apart of Ukraine.

    I just looked it up.

Check out my videos "THE ABOLITION OF MAN"

  • @anastunya He was born in Russian empire so don't talk nonsense you stupid Ukrainian!

  • @OrthodoxLion He maybe misinformed but that doesn't give us rights to call him stupid. Christians are not supposed to call people stupid.

Jesus Christ said that, "but whosoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." (Matthew 5:22)

Orthodoxy is not a 'thing in and of itself' ,Orthodoxy is all about Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

Some people use it for their own advantage though, just like St Paul said they would. Some for money, other for power, and still some others for glory.

  • @mishakol129 First of all, I didn't call anybody a fool but a stupid. So watch out what are you saying. Stupid was used as a colloquial term for ill-informed, not knowledgeable person, in this case also with nationalistic shallow agenda!

  • @OrthodoxLion Caliing someone stupid is the exact same thing as calling someone who calls someone a fool. Don't you know your vocabulary?

Besides what Jesus Christ said, St Maximus the Confessor also said, "Silence the man who utters slander in your hearing. Firstly, because you accustom yourself to this deadly passion, and second, because you fail to stop the man from speaking against his neighbor."

  • @OrthodoxLion Don't be a hypocrite either, as if for you to say, "Russian EMPIRE" is not a nationalistic agenda.

Not to mention that your own channel picture represents a nationalistic agenda.

For many (sad but true), Orthodoxy is only something used for authority and power. They don't know Jesus Christ, so they don't have life. St Paul spoke about these kinds of people in 1 Timothy Chapter 6.

  • @mishakol129 Arrogant quasi orthodox : Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged! Do you know me!? Russian Empire is a nationalistic agenda!? You ignorant American boy RUSSIAN EMPIRE was a fact for half of millennium! There is no nationalistic agenda behind the historical facts! American will teach me about history! You are just brainwashed half quasi Ukrainian - quasi mc donalds American brainwashed orthodox ! You don't know anything about history, tradition so shut up!

  • @OrthodoxLion We have the rights to judge other Christians in the Church. St Paul said, "But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or SLANDERER, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people." (1 Corinthians 5).

To anyone outside, it sounds like both of you are Nationalists. Nationalism was the fuel for why you called him stupid... You sound envious.

  • @mishakol129 Who is we? You and your Ukrainian sect in USA? . There is no nationalism in my words by obviously as a new-born orthodox you don't have a clue what is holy tradition in orthodox church. My ancestors were orthodox Christians already form 1400 years and some anti-Russian American quasi orthodox will teach me what is wrong and right ? You think if you read one time Maximus The Confessor and use citattion from Apostol Paul that you can judge people the way you do.

  • @OrthodoxLion "We" are the Christians who belong to the Body of Christ, we are all brothers. My ancestors were also Russian Orthodox for 1400 years. Anti-russian I am not. I am half-Russion by blood. I have not read Maximus the Confessor 1 time, I have read many times and have voice recorded his writings (See my home page).

We as Christians do have the right to judge others, but only those who are in the Church. You were wrong to attack a fellow Christian brother like you did. "You stupid".

  • @mishakol129 Heheh first of all, you say that your ancestors are also Russian Orthodox for 1400 years. Not! You must have some special ancestors since Russian embraced Christianity in X century so it meand thay are orthodox last 1100 years. You miss some mathematics lessons in school or you are just "stupid".

  • @OrthodoxLion You claim to be Orthodox, yet you don't even know that we are all members of one another.

  • @mishakol129 Second, tell me explicitly what Church do you belong to. They are many churches epecially in USA who claimed they are orthodox but actually they are "raskoljnici" or uniats. Maybeat the end we are not One Church.

  • @OrthodoxLion I'm not a uniat, I am an EASTERN ORTHODOX Christian just as you are.

"Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." (Hebrew 12:14).

Speak of the devil. Look at what the Pope just said, "Pope worries that the web makes social relations more superficial"

    watch?v=LzBA0PFzS5g

It is superficial. You wouldn't talk to someone like that if he was standing in the same room as you, you "Stupid". Jesus said if you call anyone stupid WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE.

  • @OrthodoxLion St Maximus also said, "73. He who speaks dispassionately of his brother’s sins does so either to correct him or to benefit another. If he speaks for any other reason, either to the brother himself

or to another person, he speaks to abuse him or ridicule him. In this case he will not escape being abandoned by God. On the contrary, he will fall into the same sin or other sins and, censured and reproached by other men, will be put to shame."

    Read James 5:9

  • @mishakol129 Third, of course I agree with St Maximus so please go at the beginning of our discussion and check who started to accuse whom, you were claiming that I called somebody fool even though I called person stupid since she is accusing you of being tool of Muscovites You indirectly accused me that "some"people are in orthodoxy because of money and power. I did not say a bad word about you...

  • @OrthodoxLion It is indeed stupid for someone to believe in Nationalism and to act on it. Nationalistic activism will be the death and destruction of the entire world.

I apologize. On first glance at what you said though, it sounded as though this was not a good way to reprove somebody. He's not going to stop being Nationalistic if you take such a stance against him, you will only intenstify the problem. It will just end up with an argument like, "You stupid!" "I'm not stupid, you're stupid!"
