  • 240p... We meet again...

  • @jeanlucncoelho That was never funny.

  • @fatansassy911 Its not meant to be funny. Its meant to show my intense hatred for people who cant make at least a 320p video.

  • @jeanlucncoelho Probably the technology was as good as it is now to produce good quality videos

  • I like the Mingus portion

  • Can't something base on this technology harness wind power without those wings that apparently are causing so much noise when install near people?

  • God himself aint got shit on Theo Jansen......

  • how do u get it to stop lol?

  • Great sculptures

  • How did that idea came to his mind?!! Genius!!

  • it must be annoying if something breaks

  • Epic.

  • I saw these at Zandvoort aan zee. God i love the Nederlands!

  • This man is a F"+!"in' GENIUS! With all respect!!

  • If i was the last person on a flat, barren Earth, I would build thousands of these to release into the wild to roam the lands forever

  • That is super crazy! i would love to see how that shit actually works.

  • if it could walk faster so it will cause air keep blowing on the leafs. then will it walk faster and faster?

  • lol he should make cars out of this xD

  • weergaloos!

  • fricken awsome

  • @stefanj11 maybe you're the one masturbating too much.

  • @stefanj11. Wow that was a really nasty thing to say, this guy is a brilliant inventor, and honestly, I think the cardboard looking walker is gonna turn into a meme :D

    It comes for you

I wonder what'll come next? Actual flying ones? :D

  • @NoobHunterzInc lol flying ones? haha thats an accident waiting to happen lol

  • wow, so amazing, he gets it!

  • A work of genius...

  • THIS GUY IS A FKIN GENIUS!

  • Can somebody PLEASE upload this video at hd or any higher than 360p?

  • Awesome! :D

  • while the big iron version here is being pushed, people are forgetting... this is a man casually pushing a BIPEDAL GIANT who probably weighs a ton.

  • This is insane!!! Can you design cars???? Lol

  • just need to set like 50 of those free in the desert, they will roam from now until eternity.

  • I would bet this artist was inspired by those commercial sprinkler systems. On a windy day these sprinkler scaffolds look very much alive too; like creatures how they maintain there balance while moving in the wind.It wouldn't surprise me if Animaris Ondula, for example was even built using exactly the same type of pipe because the material would all ready be ideal in terms of durability in the outdoor environment. Very impressive.

  • The more I look at these things, the less terrifying they become and the more beautiful I see them.

    They're still fucking terrifying, though.

  • On dirait des formes de vie extra-terrestres!!!

  • Frickin amazing. Simply astounding, I must say.

  • This man is AMAZING.

  • oh. my. goddd.

I have never seen anything like these!

  • MIren miren les va a encantar, es hermoso!!!!!!!

  • Even if some of those weren't powered by the wind, they're still engineering marvels in the form of some awesome art. I'd freak out if I saw that thing chasing me on the beach

  • Incredibly genius!!

  • What song is this?

  • wind huh? what about the dudes legs at 2:16

  • no, an optical illusion would be if you couldn't see the guys legs. or are you saying that the guys legs are the illusion?

  • @wilkatron

He uses wind to build up air pressure and then releases a valve on the beast once ample PSI is achieved.

  • you are in the point

  • @wilkatron When there's no wind you have to push them. He explains this in the TED talk he gave, which is on youtube
