Jerks in the Fiat group should realize that Alfa is a sport brand "cuore sportivo". FWD cars are usually cheap toys for children and grannies, but not for sport drivers. RWD = best fun, real driving experience. All the best brands makes their cars with rwd or 4wd, but no fwd (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Aston Martin, Ferrari and other sport cars).

Actually the engine is the old rehashed Ferarri V8 lump, with different exhaust manifold and butterfly valves to enhance the sound. The Mazza uses the same engine, with less power.
