Homosexual activists understand the power of words.
Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".
The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.
The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.
oh for fuck's sake, it's a common time pick because it's halfway between going to bed at twelve and waking up at 8. Why is this even worthy of comment?
I used to get up at this hour to deliver newspapers. In the miserable dead of winter. Before the miserable dead of school. I have a legitimate reason to despise this time.
I just reached the point at which I actually felt REALLY tired, checked the clock......4AM! and it reminded me of this video from years ago, I chuckled to myself and came to find it.
it was 4 in the morning when I finished watching this video and for a second I thought the time has come (4 am) when I shit in my pants for the first time..
Four in the morning is "vargtimmen." (Swedish for "Hour of the Wolf") According to Swedish folklore this is the time of the day when most people are born or die.
lol just listenin to Eminem 3:am, i noticed he says your walking down a horror corridoor, its almoast 4 in the morning, Rives has a point, its everywhere
I am amused that I just realized that I started watching his stuff at 4:30 in the morning... wow... But its true. Midnight is not that harsh of a time anymore.
The intro music to these older TED videos roughly approximates the Doppler effect, in a situation where Danny Elfman is running past you at high speed.
I'm not sure the analogy holds. This is more like a theatrical presentation than an academic paper. When watch a movie or a play, do you expect the writer to come out beforehand and tell you what they are trying to prove? I think the point can be divined from the tone, style and content of the presentation.
5 o'clock is when morning starts and the darkest hour is just before sunrise. I'm also reminded of Sarah Kane's last play, just before she killed herself - "4.48 psychosis", because she used to wake up at that time and had her "clear hour" because it was the only time her depression medication was out of her system. It *is* a time that is kinda unreal and when I was a child I was sorta afraid of seeing it on the clock. But then, I was afraid of clocks anyway.
I never knew the implications of "4 in the morning" when I wrote this blog post of mine (link below) on 11 May last year (2008). It just came so naturally to me! Perhaps there's something more to the phrase "4 in the morning" than what meets the eye!

4 am is the last hour of the day for me as well and when i wrote those poems, it was where I felt I could write with no restrictions, no regard and speak from my soul.

This guy's delivery style is incredible!
Musical.
Rythmic.
As a public speaker myself I like to see (should that be hear?) someone who can deliver well, He's a master!
There's a really poetic quality to it.
Hm - as I typed this I checked the video description. I see he's a poet (previously I'd only read the title) so that actually isn't so surprising.
His delivery is still fantastic though.
