I discovered there was Muslims at my work today! Lol it was incredible they noticed that the book I bring everyday is the Qur'an and so they asked if I was a Muslim! It is great to connect with other Muslims, but what I have to say is her Catholic friend asked me why I converted and I couldn't answer, I didn't know how to explain it in less than 20 minutes so basically just pointed to the book. Wasn't until after that I realized why, which is because : Islam is the truth. Plain and simple.

Yes there were female prophets in the Bible. Ellen G. White was a prophet but is just a minor light to the Bible and does not contradict any of the bible, the big light.

Trinity isn't so clear in the Bible , first the only explicit verse comes from scribes alteration of the Bible. ( You can do some research about it if you don't thnik it's true).

The reason Muhammad (pbuh) married to her is a sign from god that it is allowed for human to married the ex wife of your adopted son because adopted son is not related. Peace.

That is not a sign from God but a sign from lust. Jesus would condemn what Muhammed did and call it adultery. Jesus said, A man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery with her.

Kezmi, Muhammed confused his own lust with God's will. This is how it happens with all false prophets who are guided by their own pride and lusts and mistake it for God's will. God condems them to evelasting darkness. Open your eyes and leave Islam before you are condemned as well.

Zkt83, Is that the best you can do to defend your prophet? No wonder Muhammed commanded you to cut off hands and feet, kill, and crucify his enemies (Quran 5:33). Islam is rationally indefensible. It cannot withstand the truth, for Islam is based on the lies of a false prophet. Only the ignorant and gullible continue to believe in Islam.

Muhammed claimed to be the messenger of Abraham's God, the same God of the Jews and Christians. The God of the Bible would never condone the sin of adultery and incest but condemn it. That Muhammed would say the God of Abraham allowed him to commit these sins makes him a blasphemer in addition to being an adulterer and fornicator, and exposes him as a false prophet.

Zkt83, The issue is not about carrying on the family name but whether it is wrong for a man to marry his adopted son's wife. Clearly, this is incestous and sinful. Then, to marry a woman whose husband is alive is considered the sin of adultery. The Bible which comes from a Semitic culture similar to Arabs, condems incest and divorce. Muhammed, if he were a true prophet of God would not have committed these two grave sins. The fact is, he was not a true prophet of God.

I get a kick out of people on both sides of this discussion. First of all, to those of you who cite the quran either to support your point of view or to attack islam, please do some research. It has been proven beyond a doubt that the koran was written over a period of at least 100 years, maybe 200 years. Critical analysis and textual criticism has proven that much of the koran comes from surrounding countries and their religions and cultures.

Muhammed had an adopted son who was married to Zainab. Even so, to marry the wife of one's adopted son is still considered incest. And to marry a woman who's husband still lives is adultery. Muhammed committed the sin of incest and adultery by marrying his adopted son's wife.
