I would personally advise against doing this trick. Yes, it does make the Rubik's Cube impossible to solve; however, when you correct the orientation of the pice you flipped initially, you will end up disorientanting another piece. Once you get close to solving the cube, you will find that it's not solvable and you will not be able to tell which piece is off. Unless you don't dismantling your cube, don't try this trick...

This can be done in many different ways. People can take out the edge pieces and swap them as well as orient or flip the edges. This can also be done in combination with each other, but for the one who wants to make BETS, this will only work for people that are not that familiar with the cube. If you encounter someone who is capable of solving it many different ways, the odds are that they know of this trick themselves. BET ON THE DUMB ONES THAT ARE NOT THAT GOOD.
