  • i was doing this exercise while on muay thai...good exercise and even better if someone do this as fast as he can with some resistance.

  • ya i do some bear crawls for MA, this is a good exersize to do, great for strength and conditioning.

  • I showed up 6 minutes late to soccer practice once, and my coach made me do 600 yards of bear crawls - 100 yards for every minute. It was hell.

    Once, my brother missed a whole entire practice and didn't call and that same coach made him do 1500 yards!

  • my coach makes us do this after we sprint to the 40-50-60 yard lines. We do 5 minutes starting off. If someone knees touches the ground we do 10 more minutes.

  • at football in midle school, coach makes us do this at the enndzone to the 50 yard line, then we ave to sprin the rest of the field 10 times

  • God I hate doing this on my football practice. I'd much perfer to run 20 laps anyday.

  • this sucks for football. you have your pads and helmet holding you back and making it a lot harder.

  • Try it with straps on and wieghts attached feels like your shoulders are being ripped off your body

  • We sometimes do this as a warm up in judo among other things, haha it's alright after a while..get used to it.

  • try doing these backwards up a flight of stairs...great for the shoulders (just watch your knees)

  • i would suggest you do MMA the work outs plus the hand to eye and leg coordination and quik thinking when oyu go into ground fighting realy helps with football. when i do a sport i only do sport that somehow surpport the other. that means you training when your not even at football practice.

  • sence i mainly do MMA , also do BMX, Skateboarding, Aggresive skating, just cause it increases your balance and coordination.
