  • wht load u got goin with ur 357 manum lots of recoil :) ??....hot load ?

  • @monsterbucksonly I like using 158 gr. jacketed hollow points using H-110 powder. They are hot loads. I dont have my data in front of me right now. I use CCI primers and PMC brass. they shoot well accurate and hard hitting. this is the gun that i have reloaded the most for out of my collection and i must say it is fun to shoot. I really need to take it hunting.

  • You've got to love it when you see the movies and the quick draw champs fire weapons like this and there's no recoil. That is one bad ass weapon you have. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Ricklawrence Movie majic. LOL

  • Maaaaan, your .357 looks CLASSIC with the wood grips. I can get a new Blackhawk for less money than the Vaquero--& with Adjustable Sights too :)

  • @ntrudr800 you got to get one their cool guns to shoot.

  • ahhhh...the old .357 magnum such a fun gun to shoot

  • @ferrari9800 one of the coolest guns i have.

  • I have the New .45 and my grandma has this .357 at her place. They are so much fun to shoot. Ruger really is an amazing firearm manufacturer.

  • @t3hPoundcake I love shooting my .357. makes me think what those gunslingers of the old west had to learn to ouit shoot the other guy.

  • nice little clip.

  • @ozark1951 Thank you.

  • That my friend is a smokewagon !!

  • @Pnutt5100 smokin through my ammo. i like this gun. power cool.

  • Sweet video man...I'm really waning a single-action Ruger, just can't decide between this and the Vaquero...any insight?

  • @keeponkeepinon88 The Vaquero is the same gun with a diffrent grip and notch in the frame for a rear site. If you get a blackhawk at least you get an adjustiable rear site.

  • @keeponkeepinon88 I got a Blackhawk because of the adjustable sights.

  • Wolf ammo is ok I use that type in my SKS. 9mm ammo should be easy to find any where on earth, lots of police use the 9mm.

  • Now you can buy which ever ammo is on sale.

  • i also have a 357.mag ruger and it is great that u can us 38. special rounds

  • Some ruger black hawks came with a extra cyilinder that can also shoot 9 mm shells. Cool gun I like Rugers.

  • enjoy those cuts to the webbing of your hand cowboy!

  • I have never been cut by any handgun. I just learned how to shoot it. I have shot a 50 cal Desert Eagle and on the first shot the gun almost left my hand. The torq and recoil are a best to control-yes I said TORQ the hevy bullet raceing down the rifleing likes to twist the gun in your hand.

  • i was just impressed thats all. especially with the small wood grips.

  • The gun just rotates up and recoil is easy to controll. The grips fill my hand just fine as well.

  • Can it also shoot .38 special?

  • I am unsure,I think so.

  • @dantheman7624

any revolver chambered in .357mag is capable of shooting .38 spl...one of the great things i love about mine...i dont have to fork out 30 bucks a box to go to the range

  • The cost to shoot this gun is cheap for me. tons of brass I have laying around.

  • @ManlyMenStudios It absolutely can. Shoot them in mine when I'm just plinking.

  • Thanks, that's gonna save me a lot on ammo if I get one.

  • @ManlyMenStudios yes, i have one of these with hogue ruber grips on it. i have sent .38 through it many times. this is a fun gun

  • Nice Shooting Cowboy. One hand with a revolver makes you a Cowboy.

  • yee-haw

    ;-)

  • Think he can use two revolvers to become a Bounty Hunter

  • :-)

  • yeaaaaaaa... don't know what's after that... Sheriff? or Deputy? no wait it's Deputy, I think he needs to shoot a small object 70 yards away, Pistol or Repeater Rifle. Yea this would be a fun ranking system for a Western Shooting Tournament or for a video game.

  • I also have a .22 single six I can use in a double holster rig.

  • What load were you firing in that?

  • I was shooting 125 gr. JHP made by PMC. I also like shooting 158 gr. bullets loaded with Accurate #9 or H-110 powder.

  • Cool. Thanks

  • just bought a blackhawk in .357...any idea what a pair of ivory grips would cost?......do they make bone grips?

  • I know genuine ivory is not easy to get but they do make bone.

  • I have a Cimarron .357 Model P. The recoil isn't bad but it never fails to turn heads at the range. I just posted a video of it.

  • very very nice gun...i want to buy the next october....my compliments....

  • I got the same gun I don't know but my gun came with a 9mm cylinder along with its 357mag./38 Special did anyone else get one like that? I like shooting 140 gr. wadcutters in 38spl.out of it; its a lot easier on the recoil then 357mag. loads.

  • Some Ruger .357 mag. revolvers came that way with an extra cylinder to shoot 9mm. That ruger is a keeper.

  • I want one of these myself, in the 4-5/8" barrel and .357, sounds like a pretty excellent revolver. Best regards Marmaloon

  • im not tryen to be tuff or anything but its not that bad .357 revolver not gona be that bad pistols dont start hurting untill you get to to .454cas or S&W 500 you should try shooten a .357 some time i think you'll find it not that bad

  • my dad has the same pistol 6 inch barrel and he found mother of pearl hand grip panels for his though. nice gun :)

  • Navajo dirt shootin... sweet. Gotta love that!

  • Every now and then a tumble weed blows my way, and I try to get a shot off but can't tell if I hit it. It just keeps movin and does not want to stop. I wish there were rabbits or prairie diggs I could shoot at.

  • Just roll with the punches and you will get used to it.

  • wow very nice ruger single action 357 thinking of getting one

  • sweet gun ruger best on earth

  • Smith & wessons are pretty good too.

  • SWEET!
