@monsterbucksonly I like using 158 gr. jacketed hollow points using H-110 powder. They are hot loads. I dont have my data in front of me right now. I use CCI primers and PMC brass. they shoot well accurate and hard hitting. this is the gun that i have reloaded the most for out of my collection and i must say it is fun to shoot. I really need to take it hunting.
You've got to love it when you see the movies and the quick draw champs fire weapons like this and there's no recoil. That is one bad ass weapon you have. Thanks for sharing.
@keeponkeepinon88 The Vaquero is the same gun with a diffrent grip and notch in the frame for a rear site. If you get a blackhawk at least you get an adjustiable rear site.
I have never been cut by any handgun. I just learned how to shoot it. I have shot a 50 cal Desert Eagle and on the first shot the gun almost left my hand. The torq and recoil are a best to control-yes I said TORQ the hevy bullet raceing down the rifleing likes to twist the gun in your hand.
any revolver chambered in .357mag is capable of shooting .38 spl...one of the great things i love about mine...i dont have to fork out 30 bucks a box to go to the range
yeaaaaaaa... don't know what's after that... Sheriff? or Deputy? no wait it's Deputy, I think he needs to shoot a small object 70 yards away, Pistol or Repeater Rifle. Yea this would be a fun ranking system for a Western Shooting Tournament or for a video game.
I got the same gun I don't know but my gun came with a 9mm cylinder along with its 357mag./38 Special did anyone else get one like that? I like shooting 140 gr. wadcutters in 38spl.out of it; its a lot easier on the recoil then 357mag. loads.
im not tryen to be tuff or anything but its not that bad .357 revolver not gona be that bad pistols dont start hurting untill you get to to .454cas or S&W 500 you should try shooten a .357 some time i think you'll find it not that bad
Every now and then a tumble weed blows my way, and I try to get a shot off but can't tell if I hit it. It just keeps movin and does not want to stop. I wish there were rabbits or prairie diggs I could shoot at.
wht load u got goin with ur 357 manum lots of recoil :) ??....hot load ?

Wolf ammo is ok I use that type in my SKS. 9mm ammo should be easy to find any where on earth, lots of police use the 9mm.
dantheman7624 1 year ago
Now you can buy which ever ammo is on sale.

Some ruger black hawks came with a extra cyilinder that can also shoot 9 mm shells. Cool gun I like Rugers.

i was just impressed thats all. especially with the small wood grips.

The gun just rotates up and recoil is easy to controll. The grips fill my hand just fine as well.

Can it also shoot .38 special?

jasonhenson1991 3 years ago
I was shooting 125 gr. JHP made by PMC. I also like shooting 158 gr. bullets loaded with Accurate #9 or H-110 powder.

Some Ruger .357 mag. revolvers came that way with an extra cylinder to shoot 9mm. That ruger is a keeper.

I want one of these myself, in the 4-5/8" barrel and .357, sounds like a pretty excellent revolver. Best regards Marmaloon
