If your processor's good then it will work fine. Brawl runs better than Melee though.

Asus P6T Deluxe, intel core i7 920 @ 3.2 (OC), 750w Ultra PS, 6GB G.Skill Tri Channel memory @ 1600(OC), 1TB SATA HD, 147GB SAS HD and one 9800GX2. This emulator only used two of my four cores and my GPU stays a 62. This game does not even come close to using 45% of my pcs power so If u got like 2gigs and a good video card and like a q6600 I bet you would have no problem.
