  • what's the difference between 11B and 11X?

  • Ahhh, the BDU's....a uniform that actually blended in with it's environment.

  • if i pass all my waivers do you think i can join the infantry even though i had a history of asthma symptoms? but i havnt used an inhaler for like 3 years

  • @TheShellshock1992 To tell the truth I cannot answer your question. You have to ask the nearest recruiting station to talk to one of the recruiters. They're the people who can assist you with whatever question that you may have.

  • @wearmystrong okay thanks for your help

  • @TheShellshock1992 Look man if you havent been using an inhaler for 3years then you dont need to tell the army that have asthma

  • has a person with asthma symptoms got into the infantry or lying his way trough

  • @TheShellshock1992 With current downsizing, if a person is having an asthma it is less likely a person can get into the Army.

  • @wearmystrong i never had an asthma attack nothing too major like stop breathing and panic to get my inhaler nothing like that when i work out i have never used my inhaler maybe when the army hears people had asthma symptoms they probably think it was something severe like stop breathing he almost died if he didnt get his inhaler

  • Is infantry 11x? because when i enlisted, i was told by my recruiter its 11B

  • @E7uber9000 - every recruit who signs with an infantry MOS contract will go to basic will be 11x, 11x is infantry enlisted. during OSUT you will be assigned 11c or 11b

  • @E7uber9000 11x is an enlistment option MOS for an Infantry. After you graduated from One Station Unit Training (OSUT), you can either go for 11b or 11c, or whatever unit that you are assigned to that needs that particular MOS.

  • @E7uber9000 11b is the actual infantry 11c is the inderect fire 11x is both when you go to basic your porformence will base your placment

  • I'm also headed to Fort Benning in Georgia for four months. Three months for Bootcamp (BCT) and one Infantry Training. (11Bravo) Sep 19, 2011 to Jan 20, 2012 Wish me luck. HOOAH!!!!!!!!

  • Leaving Feb. 14, 2012 FT. BENNING 11x HOOAH!

  • @CaliDCcFlIpZ Good luck.

  • @CaliDCcFlIpZ Don't do it. The government doesn't care about its soldiers. They just war monger to put more money in their pockets. It's horrible and hard to believe but please do your research and google it.

  • I leave tuesday. 20110607. HOOAH!

  • @NutritionalGaming good luck. Hooah!

  • @PVTTomb150 First thanks for serving our country and for replying back. I would really like to know if 11c is really stationary most of the time or do they move around a lot like 11b? Also are you happy with that infantry mos or would you change to a different one? And since it called indirect fire is it safer then 11b or the some? And last is the training harder then 11b or the same?

  • Im thinking about joining mos 11c or 11b and would like any advise you have. I don't want to be stationary for long periods of time, that's why I'm not interested in artillery and it seems that 11c is like artillery. Maybe we can switch contact info so you can answer my questions. It would really help me chose the right mos for me. Thanks.

  • @NYC1E1 pm me. Im an 11C, and being an 11C means Im an 11C Mortarman first, but still perform many of the same task as a regular infnatryman does.

  • For all the guys that havent left yet, good luck. I graduated as a 11C back on 03DEC2010. This isn't for everyone, and if anyone has any questions about training or just wants to know more about Indirect Infantry (11C), or just regular Infantry just pm me.

  • @EMVEYP617 damn dude kit sux but is fun get use to being treated like a pos

  • Something I am sure you guys have heard, or will hear soon. OPSEC (Operational Security)...loose lips sink ships, so do not plaster on youtube for millions to see when your departure date is. I would really hate to be in your unit at this moment.

  • @4RMYV3T It's probably a new rule but I haven't heard anything being passed down by our S2 office. However, as long as your real name, departure time, day and location is not being posted I'm pretty sure it's okay. Yes, if somebody who is trying hard to find you badly, they can search through your background by keywords and all that. Just be careful what you posted on the Internet.

  • @wearmystrong

I am glad someone listened, but I still see disturbing posts like the one below. "leavin jan 4 2010...anyone else..ft benning GA". See, the bad thing is this. I do not need to know your name, or departure time, however, when you say Ft. Benning Georgia, and supply the date it creates problems. Problems that the unit does not necessarily need.

  • @4RMYV3T It's true we need to stay vigilance all the time, and it's always a good trait. Just don't mention where you're coming from with your real name mentioned on the same post. Thank you for bringing this up.

  • A quick google search provides Columbus Metropolitan as an airport near Benning. Now, with a possible location along with the date, anything can happen. When we deployed, we had loudmouths telling everyone. A few days before leaving, a terror cell was found a few blocks from our unit. They not only had plans to stop us, but an array of other acts as well.

OPSEC, and common sense are not new. I am surprised that a unit commander, let alone S2, does not inform their soldiers deploying or not.

  • @4RMYV3T Yes during deployment they will certainly brief you of what have to do, and the break down schedules from the day of your briefing until you are being shipped out etc ..

  • @wearmystrong However, most recruiters never mentioned to new recruits about the OPSEC matter.

  • leavin jan 4 2010...anyone else..ft benning GA

  • @desrosiers11b Do you mean to say Jan 4 2011? Good luck.

  • @wearmystrong - what years this video from? seeing the old bdu always makes things seem older

  • @desrosiers11b hahahh im with you i leave then also

  • @desrosiers11b

11x for me i leave 2011-17-10 i want airborne and ranger eventually sf :)

  • @desrosiers11b hey you cant say the exact date of you shipping out due to security measures, and you an get into alot of trouble

  • leaving 20110222 anyone else the same date?

  • @ethanrks hey man i leave 20110202 man

  • "there are only two jobs in the US Army: eleven bees, or wannabees!"XD

thats what my recruiter told me when i ask him which is better, 19d or 11b

ahh still cracks me up :)

  • Lol, what's the guy at 0:15 (in the room) doing? It looks like he's either completely psyched or he's pissed off at his score

  • oh shit this looks like so much fun

  • I was at FT Sill for my basic way back in '99 and the best advice I can possibly give is check the damn toilets before you do a number 2! We had 2 in our barracks that were no good. One flushed like a power washer and catapalted shit everywhere and the other was so weak that nothing went down ever. Let's just say the first week sucked.

  • Comment removed

  • 11b is 11 bravo with is the infantry company in the army. 11x is the training of 11b..........

  • Comment removed

  • no u moron in basic u ar either trainned as llb or llc

  • @gooseroos2 hey dipshit, Im infantry. I know what Im talking about. YOu're not trained for either during basic. You get your basic combat skills. During your AIT which for infantry is OUST you get INFANTRY training. You train with everything infantry. Then untill you get an assignment you're 11x. Before you deploy you'll go somewhere to do predeployment training. Brushing up on what you'll be doing, Either 11b or 11c Trust me, after three tours in the desert, i know what I've done.

  • @AlphonsePacino

I'm going to Fort Benning for Infantry training May 10th. I have to ask you...What is it like, knowing that every second could be your last? How often do you get into shit? How much time is spent in the field?

  • It really all depends man. Just because you're going infantry doesn't mean you'll even see combat. I've seen lots of combat in the northern region of Iraq and in the south eastern region of Afghanistan. And little in other places. I'm assigned to 101st Airborne division though. I see combat every deployment. But as far as Ft. Benning goes, all I can say is run alot to prepare before you go. Trust me you'll need it. But It was fun to me

  • dude I go to Fort Benning for infantry July 13th

  • @LimpinPushA123 wow, july 13 is my meps date, i ship out late august, infantry. one of my best friends starts on my bday, 4days before you, same MOS

  • @MotoEvyn93 hell yeah man, I might see you there brother HOOAH!

  • @AlphonsePacino HOOAH!

  • haha u got boned

  • x-ray means candidate. bravo is light infantry charlie is indirect fire, bravo's use small arms. and charlies use mortars generally.

  • what mos is the bradley infantryman?

  • still 11B

  • this vid is outdated.

the army combined 11H (TOW missile) and 11M (mech) with 11B so only that and 11C (mortars) are left

  • Both

  • @fkknsik

    11M
