Not literally. I don't believe demons eat human souls - that would be too satisfying. But whatever the case, they will no longer be blessed with God's presence, because they have rejected God, forever.
I rem when the were recording this song. They introduced the song in the concerts in Chicago and Milwaukee and the voices at the end where from the people at those concerts. I was glad to be part of one those concerts. This song brings back memories

@ishmael432 When I was in the 4th grade I went to a Newsboys concert. When they played this song they shot these huge confetti cannons. Me and my friends started picking confetti off of this bald guy's head lol
it surprises me that this is one of my least popular songs lol. it's a little rough on some parts (sry, old CD) but this was my favorite song on the whole CD back a few years ago. it's been here for 2 months but my own comment is the first one :\
