After becoming so obsessed with the song, I decided to look up the instrumental version of it, it startled me at how bare the song is without her voice. Not that the music isn't amazing in its own right, but her vocals really take it to another level. Most pop songs these days, if you removed the vocals from the music, you don't really notice what's missing because the singers don't really bring anything to the table.
