  • Why don't you make this a playlist so people aren't trying to find the various parts scattered hither and yon?

  • i really hope the pakistani islamists of londonistan don't disrupt the jubilee and the olympics

  • Look the stone under the chair there. see the documentaries i put links to.

  • prince Charles please abdicate and let willam be coronated as king :D

i do not t want camille as his queen consort

  • @riek993 Hate to be this guy, but its a monarchy, it isnt about what people want.. xD

  • @AjCassells Yeah... because a Republic is so much better. Honestly, the British cry because they pay to their Royal Family 50 million pounds a year (while they receive 150 million pounds in return of profits from Crown estates). In my country, this putried, rotten Republic is so out of touch, that the only thing they manage is that the Monarchist movement keeps rising. The other day, a tv made a poll about Monarchy vs Republic - Monarchy won with 86% of the votes.

  • @AvatarMarxon90 I'm not pro-republic, i'm a monarchist. I was just pointing out that people making statements like, "I don't want so and so to be queen." Is rather foolish.

  • Sadly Australia isnt doing anything to commemorate the diamond jubilee, because we have a Labor socialist-republican government whose policy is to scrap the constitutional monarchy

  • Comment removed

  • For those asking, to commemorate 60 years they are multiple celebrations taking place across the kingdom in her majesty's honor leading to the main event in London on June

  • God save the Queen, 60 of service today, your country salutes you your majesty

  • Hello Editor, I miss part I. Is it possible that you arrange a playlist ?

  • The Queen today 60 years in her "job". In Germany I heard that official celebrations are planned for Juny. Does somebody know at which day please ?

  • @wskfan HI, the celebrations will be happening over a long weekend. From 2nd - 5th June. On Sunday 3rd 1000 boats will gather on the Thames. Don't miss it!

  • The Queen practised these moves to a vinyl recording of her father's coronation ceremony, with a large bedsheet as her train, in the ballroom of Buckingham Palace.

  • I hope you all know that she took the Oath on a false coronation stone and swore to uphold the law of God, instead posing her own dictatorship on the world. You know why they say "God save queen elizabeth"? cause they know where satanic warshippers go when they die

  • The envy of the world. God bless her and all of her subjects...

  • im sick of all these americans belittling the queen and the monarchy. look at all the idiotic corrupt politicians they've had as head of state. i'd rather have a wise, gracious and noble king/queen as my head of state. long live the queen of australia

  • @TheAnglopride It's not just Americans doing it, you know. There's a lot of people over here who would like nothing more than to see the monarchy abolished, the Queen removed as head of state and replaced with President Blair. They seem to think that people like Blair wouldn't take the opportunity to become head of state but let's be honest, a British presidency would only be used by former politicians as a PR device and a chance to enjoy the feeling of being on top again.

  • @The1985Channel and you'd more than likely end up with Gordon Brown as president, he's even worse than Blair!

  • @TheAnglopride Speaking as an American, let me say that Queen Elizabeth II is a

class act. I wish we had someone as Honorable as her in our highest office.

  • I'll bet some of this footage was used in the Marilyn Monroe movie "The Prince And The Showgirl" with Laurence Olivier.

  • @docmike1983 No just because you live in a shitty republic. you have obama we have the Queen who has served and done us proud for 60 years i pity you i do ;)

  • @docmike1983 why would we want to follow in the footsteps of America, Ireland and India? they are shitholes and economic basketcases

  • Incredible its like we had cameras in middle ages

  • @abzster98 maybe if you listen to sarahi010 your fat ass might find a man!

  • in 30 years when britain becomes an islamic republic, hopefully they will spare the life of the royal family, unlike in russia in 1917

  • U gotta give Prince Philip some credit like, He's stood beside to her for all these years being her faithful lover, advisor and protector. Long live Prince Philip & The Queen <3

  • @abzster98 Actually, it is said that Prince Philip has not always been faithful to the Queen.

Allegedly, the Queen told Princess Diana that every man cheats and that it was okay for Prince Charles to cheat. But it is our [female] duty to stick by our man through thick and thin.

That being said, it suggests that the Prince Philip had a wandering eye and has cheated on the Queen.

  • @sarahi010 Thats sexist >:o

  • @abzster98 Tell that to the Queen.

  • Im proud to be british <3 The Queen is another example that Girls/Woman are just as good as Boys/Men. GIRL POWER!!!

  • nonsence

  • I am dazzled by her beauty

  • These pple talking abt sharia law is so funny. The queen/king is the head of the church. Its decades of tradition, they do not take the churchs role lightly. It doesnt matter how atheist the country gets. Well except they do away with the whole monarchy(Which would be the end of britain).

  • i think Camilla is the main reason people don't want Charles

  • I'm an Elizabethan...born and raised...and it brings tears to my eyes just like it did to our ancestors down the ages who swore allegience because she, with us, have, in the most part, been good and true to the cause of humanity...for everyone of good heart the World over, whoever they may be. God Save the Queen and God Bless Us All

  • QUE PAYASADAS SON ESTAS VENDITO ACA NO TENEMOS A ESTOS PARASITOS.

  • The evil empire, huh huh huh

  • Britain is a wonderful country deserves for not hereditary head of state...

Some people would say that the monarchy made her great... no. The people made her great. The nation made her great.

  • Also i cannot see how people still bow down and have their jaws dropped when they talk about the queen and her family. I mean they're all good, and the lads, william and (i forgot the other one) are gentlemen and stuff. But we do need a reality check, it's the 21st century, and it seems bizarre we go gaga over people with fancy hats and they're other palatial stuff which should be really in the hands of the brit people. Not to mention the kohinoor diamond, which we stole amongst other things.

  • My family used to and are staunch pro-royalist. I'm probably the only one arguing against. When we have a democratic institution in place, where economic and other policies are debated DEMOCRATICALLY, i think the whole royal thing is just a farce. Nobody dares to speak up against them in public (including myself). The royal family has just become a feeding house to the magz and papaz who are a dying industry. I despise us singing 'god save the queen' and always cringe cause im an atheist too.

  • @agcronaldo17 firstly, britain does have a democratic institution where economic policies are debated, its called Parliament. secondly, plenty of people speak out against them, Cherie Blair was a well known republican, and there are thousands of muslim fanatics in britain who call for the overthrow of the monarchy and the introduction of an islamic republic with sharia law. as an athiest you should be thrilled by that.

  • @TheAnglopride Yes exactly, I am a brit I know where policies are debated.Haha, mate, referring to sharia law, yes that's complete bollocks. Realistically, that's never going to happen here in Britain. It's not that the monarchy are doing anything to prevent it. It's the parliamentary structure and the way policies are made. I mean I seem like a nutter when I say the monarchy are just figureheads, who, in the 21st Century aren't really needed. Just my opinion, and I just think it's really a farce.

  • that woman moves like a snale

  • all hail the queen of England by the way I'm not English/British or however you call it I just love her so much because of what I just heard she was doing lettting a female rule rather then choosing a male because of his gender

    EMPOWERMENT!!!!

  • @LangBellsChannel i dont think so was choosen for her gender she was just born a chick just like you. basically however you pop out that's what the people get.

  • @iancmcintyre I'm not saying she was chosen for her gender I'm talking about the generations before her. When they only wanted males to rule, that because the you're a female you're not as fit to rule as a male

  • @LangBellsChannel it depends on what you are talking about on how you call it. English is England and British is the United Kingdom which aldo includes Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. yeah the queen always spoke up for women good to see equalty for all One wounders what it might have been like if this was the case hundreds of years ago? the UK could have had as many if not more Queens than Kings!

  • @Sammy1234568910 Ha I had to read your comment atleast three times to understand what you said lol. You know a lot about England/ Britain. I never knew that where I live English and British is the same thing. If a person is from English or has the accent we say that person is British or has a British accent. I think women are very good leaders. (most) Happy the rules are changing.

  • @LangBellsChannel There was no "letting"; Britain practices male-preference primogeniture. She had no older brothers; Elizabeth II is the rightful successor of George VI

  • @disamjisa oh well I didn't know I but thanks for telling me

  • i think one of the ladies in waiting is winston churchill's daughter

  • Who is the tall man in the dark clothes ?

  • @QueenWaterLily do you mean the man in the navy uniform following behind the queen? he is the groom of the robes, captain sir harold campbell

  • @TheAnglopride

    thanks :)

  • Yeah, I do alot of reading on the Royal Family, and it is common for "Ladies in Waiting" to be members of the peerage (the nobility). Originally ladies in waiting were mere companions of the Queen, but in modern times they maintain the wardrobe of the Queen, as was explained below. At any rate I get chills every time I see this. I can't even imagine what she must have felt.

  • god save the queen and long live the commonwealth i am eggar to enlsit in the royal navy wish me luck :]

  • The Queen's Mistress of the Robes (i.e. her chief lady-in-waiting), the Duchess of Devonshire

  • Who was walking behind the Queen in 0:43? The lady with the train, I mean

  • @bobby777knight the woman walking behind the queen with the train (duchesses have a 2 metre train) is the Mistress of the Robes, Mary Cavendish the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire. the Mistress of the Robes is responsible for the queen's jewellery and clothing. she's also in charge of the ladies in waiting. regards

  • @TheAnglopride

Thanks for the info. Is her role mostly ceremonial or does she actually help on official functions?

  • @bobby777knight hi, i don't think her role is just ceremonial, i think she also prepares the queen's jewelry and outfits for official functions (along with the ladies in waiting, who she is in charge of) cheers

  • @TheAnglopride

Cheers. I'm sorry you to trouble you with so many questions, but do you happen to know the difference between a lady-in-waiting and a Lady of the Bedchamber?

  • @bobby777knight

"Ladies-in-Waiting" is the general term for the well-to-do female companions/assistants of the Queen...there's actually two classes: Ladies of the Bedchamber (who are peeresses) and Women of the Bedchamber (who aren't peeresses). Formerly, there were also the Maids of Honour (young women of debutante age)

  • @baraxor

Well, I know the Queen and Princess Alexandra both had lady-in-waitings. I'm not sure about the other royal princesses, though. Anyways, thanks for answering my question

  • who is that guy at 3:00 standing in front of the royal box with the white staff?

  • Comment removed

  • @ 3:16 is that the queen mother?

  • @justianowski the queen mother is in the royal box behind the queen, with princess margaret and the queen's aunts and cousins. at 3:06 you can see her curtsy along with all the other women

  • Quick question: How will this change when the ceremony is Muslim? Have they already made plans to be Sharia compliant, and will the future King or Queen invite any remaining Christians in the UK to see the event?

  • @ScottMacFie thanks to the mass immigration policies by both political persuasions what you've described is quite possible

  • Long live the Queen!

  • I don't understand why everyone is always so down on Charles. He's perfectly fine and in fact he was very much before the times with his conservationist ideals, long before it became hip to be so. All the recent "hot stars" etc merely copy in what he laid out over 3 decades ago. as I recall even back then he was criticsized in the press for his "nature loving" ideals . They mocked him for being a tree hugger etc. He's a decent guy.

  • @valocilf I very much agree - I don't get it either. I admire him greatly for his brave, informed and often singular stance on issues about which he's been criticised and ridiculed: a sustainable planet, good architecture, human values. I don't sit in judgement, based solely on his life with dear Diana. Harry and William seem remarkably "human", as does Charles himself. I often wonder how he copes with the relentless hostility and I hope history will be a good deal more positive.

  • @valocilf

i dont know much about him, but i do know that he's strongly involved into environment guarding and he warns about the risks of nanotechnology, not many people think about the consequences of nanotechnology yet.

  • @valocilf Of course he is a decent guy! But he declined being a member of free masonry! Now guess what...

No wonder he's so harmed in the media since he decided not to become a freemason, like most of his kins! He is, truely, a very, very, very decent guy, regardless of some quirks he might also have...

  • @valocilf if I could have any man on earth it would be him

  • @valocilf Diana.

  • @valocilf I guess the belief by some that he wasn't so decent to the mother of his children what with his affair with his married mistress Camilla Parker Bowles didn't win him brownie points. I think Diana's ghost is probably going to haunt Charles in that respect to the ends of his days. Apart from his affair, he is no better nor worse than other Princes of Wales.

  • @valocilf Any man who breaks his vows and commits adultery raises questions as to whether or not he could keep vows made at his (presumptive) coronation. God Save Queen Elizabeth II!

  • Comment removed

  • She shalt geteth the royal tapping!

  • queenie is hot!

  • at 3:14 who are the men next to the queen with the crimson robes holding the swords?

  • @TheAnglopride

These are Lords bearing the various swords of the Regalia...the large Sword of State, the Curtana or Sword of Mercy (with a blunt tip, and representing what was allegedly the sword of Olgier the Dane of Charlemagne legend), the Sword of Spiritual Justice and the Sword of Temporal Justice

  • Vivat Regina Elisabeta! Deus Servo Regina!

  • hopefully her majesty will live for another 15 years, until she's 101 like her mother. then hopefully charles will be too old to be king and we'll get william!

  • i cant wait for Gulielmus Rex and Katharina Regina!

  • I have my airplane reservations as well as a rented flat in Holland Park for only 900 Pounds for Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, and God willing, she will have 75 years on the Throne and a second Diamond Jubilee.

  • @JustJim70118 - I think the second one will be the Platinum jubilee. And, if there's another, it will be the Kryptonite jubilee!! :) I really hope she reigns long enough for Charles to go. William MUST be King next.

  • @mrlopez2681 According to my research, platinum is 70 years.

  • Vivat Regina Elizabetha!

  • who's doing the running commentary? sounds like noggin the nog.

  • @list55 His name is SIR LAWRENCE OLIVIER.

  • @JustJim70118 thanks for pointing that out! i really didn't recognise him, didn't sound a bit like a hard day's night! i suppose when charles gets done it'll be dimbleby (and his father before him). although if it's an independent film version maybe kenneth brannagh or russell brand.

  • @list55 Emma Thompson would be nice! Actually, Kenneth Brannagh would do well.

  • @JustJim70118

1970 he became himself a peer ( as Baron of Brighton ). Unfortunately no coronation took place until 1989 or he would have been in the Abbey with his own coronet and robe. Now he is buried in the abbey.

  • @JustJim70118 Thanks for the information. Just curious, was he a life peer or was he created a hereditary peer? I don't think he had any children so the peerage would have lapsed.

  • she turned to the east south west and north and each time they shouted god save queen elizabeth, but its been edited out

  • @TheAnglopride what was/is the significance of her doing that?

  • @stukaville i was just pointing out how much the film has been edited

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAnglopride keep wondering smartass

  • God save the QUEEN!!

  • The description of the video says that the people shout "God Save the Queen!" but I believe that they are shouting "Long live the Queen!", who is correct?

  • does anybody know what the acclamation will be for king charles?

would it be Vivat Rex Charles?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAnglopride

If he chooses to be known as Charles III, it will be "Vivat Rex Carolus". If he chooses to be George VII, it will be "Vivat Rex Georgius".

  • what are they singing in between "Vivat Regina..........vivat vivat vivat?

  • @TheAnglopride Vivat Regina Elizabetha

  • @1stLordTheAdmiralty1: ok - and you won't ever see my taxes. I'm not planning to be poor so some day this taxes may be high, or very high.

And suck my dick, my lord.

  • Queen Elizabeth, as i was reading, is a wonderful person - but not all of royal family is like her, are they? I will not accept the inequality becoming just from birth, for my respect you must earn.

And once again, sorry for my English, I see my mistakes in my post. But it looks like I'm not learning for you, but for Americans or Canadians. (yes, i know, that the british monarch is monarch of Canada too, but i thihk that is just symbolic)

  • US - there's a lot of stupid people, although they have strong, good fundaments - the Constitution, Declaration of Independency and wonderful traditions of Independence and freedom. But now the people of America... you know... and their goverment are a world bandit, not institution protecting freedom.

I thought about Great Britain, but i will not accept imposition of respect to stupid cow with "HRH" before the name, you know, I didn't said that about the queen, but about some people from royals

  • How does it concern me? I want to emigrate from my country, I'm not happy there. I dont think that nationality is something that the people can't change - I think that living somewhere, honestly doing your job and sometimes making something for community can make you equipollent citizen of this nation.

I was thinking about UK - i was thinking about that country that is great, tollerant and open for people who thinks different. Now i'm thinking about US or Canada. (I will continue in next post)

  • @TheBnc1 Don't come to the UK with attitudes like yours you're not welcome with that sort of attitude

  • @jss1886:

No, you have not to change anything for foreigners, but you may change something for you.

    "Her people"

You are signing "Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.". But you're little bit like slaves - I feels like a free man, and I'm not anyone's property - I'm not property of any queen or king.

  • @TheBnc1 You feel like a free man, good for you. You dont get it obviously, i dont want change, and i dont feel like a 'slave'. Your not British, so i dont see why it always concerns foreigners weather we have a monarchy or not.

  • @TheBnc1 1 We are in no way like slaves, and 2 How does it concern you foreigners ?.

  • @TheBnc1 - Oh brother...quit being SO dramatic. Just because it is said "Her people" doesn't mean they are her "property". She is the hereditary head & representative of the people.

  • @jss1886: no, it dont make you stupid. Sorry, i didnt write a good sentence in my first post, but i said - im just learning english. Im influenced by culture of english language, and nobody will change that.

Yes, i dont know a lot about queen, i just was reading that is a good queen. But i'm little bit against institution of monarchy, not against reigning queen.

  • @TheBnc1 How can you be 'against' a monarchy that has nothing to do with you? If your against a country that has a monarchy, do you bitch about every other country that has royalty like Spain or Holland, or is it just my country? Im guessing the latter....

  • Our Queen took a oath to god for her people and she's be true to every word.Prince Charles took a oath to one person in marriage and couldn't even keep that hows he going keep his oath to millions of people to the realms around the world.I bet the scum of the earth (republicans) can't wait till he takes the throne

  • waste of money having a royal family really.....

  • @kingkerwick waste of money, having politicians riding around in 100,000dollar cars

  • @CH1P52 i agree

  • that woman following behind the queen, is that mistress of the robes, mary cavendish the dowager duchess of devonshire? her husband was poisioned by a serial killer in 1950

  • i really hope charles abdicates and gives the crown to william

  • did they construct a special floor? because the area between the altar and the quire is different to what it is today

  • @TheAnglopride

The area before the altar (the "Theatre" of the Coronation) has a false timber floor under the carpeting, and a several-stepped "mount" for the Throne provided for the occasion (which is distinct from the ancient Coronation Chair used for the crowning)

  • Vivat! Vivat Regina! VIVAT! VIVAT! VIVAT!

  • Will Charles take the name Charles III, or will he choose to be known as George VII?

  • @JustJim70118 He'll possible take Charles. Because Charles I had his head chopped off and Charles II was a bit useless and only liked to party.

  • @BassChanter A bit of sarcasm there about the current heir to the thrown, i.e., in connection with the Charles versus George statement? It's hard to tell sometimes when one simply reads a written statement..The Charles II being useless statement makes me think you're not referring to what his name will be but what some might think it should be! Who knows? Although he'll comparatively have a short reign, he could surprise us like Prince Albert did as George VI..

  • Just look on the Prince Harry. He's ugly, he probably have not any talents, he didn't discover, explored or build anything. He don't have a world class sport talent, he is not a genious. All he have is a British people giving him their money for free like a fools. Yes, its your money, but why the republicans have to give him their own money too?

@Giniabeth: i dont think that the monarch and left side driving are the all they have. I belive in them and i think that is a great nation.

  • @TheBnc1 Prince Harry? Ugly? He is HOT!

  • @BigBossCat: no, you're just stupid, not Republicans. Yes, there will be always richer people, but monarchy have more common things with a Communism than Capitalism, because monarchy is a child of feudalism. In communism and in feudalism there are no justice in distribution of wealth, because the money can be fairly given only to people who did something. In capitalism your talents and your work decides about that who you are, not a family or your place of birth. And that's fairly.

  • God Save the Queen...

  • @VigisKane: you're just stupid. You will let kill yourself for somebody who you didnt know, for your queen. Not for mother, not for your family, not for your country, but for rich bitch who dont care about you. European and republicans will not ever understand your minds.

I think that British people are great but i think that theres a 2 stupid things in that gorgeus country:

    1.monarchy

2.driving on the left side of the road

Sorry for my English, im just learning.

  • @TheBnc1

That's rubbish! I'm German (so I'm also European^^) and I do understand "your minds"! So don't generalize your own opinion!

You think the country is gorgeous, but just without monarchy and driving on the left side of the road? These are two of the things most people associate with Great Britain and love about it. It's something that differs this country from other countries. It just sounds as if you wanted another america...

  • @TheBnc1 Driving on the left side of the road? How the fuck is that stupid? It's our culture and that's how we adapted to things. Just because its a cultural difference doesn't make it stupid... sheesh. And your English is utter shit. And the monarchy is NOT "stupid." You don't know how good something is until it's gone. Remember that.

  • @TheBnc1 Ok firstly i want to point out, just because we do things differently to you, that dont make us 'stupid'. Secondly dont bitch about the Queen when clearly you know nothing about her. You dont know her, or what she thinks of us, so to say she doesnt care about her people is dumb. The monarchy in Britain is older than any other in Europe, and i dont see why we should change that to please foreigners like you.

  • @TheBnc1 And before you start banging on about the cost, i would rather pay to keep the monarchy rather than pay to keep benefit scrounging immigrants.

  • @jss1886 : hey - i will not start banging on about the cost, because the cost quietly low (about 0.62 pound per person per year) and the cost is not most important. Yes, i would rather pay to monarch than to these immigrants, too ;)

I belive in free market, and I wouldnt give any money to immigrants, students or anybody if I can.

  • The tradition and order of these celebrations are amazing....

  • Wow i cant wait untill the Queen dies lol not to be mean i mean she was Queen for sooooooo longgg and she got so oldd.. :P

i just want Prince William to quickly be King and plus Prince Charles cant be king anymore because she got divorced soo he isnt next in line.. Prince WIlliam is next :D And i know Prince Williams coronation will be AMAZING :D

  • @emeraldeyz23 Wishing someone dead is a bit sick, wouldn't you say? You have a long wait to see William as king, she might be 85 but she has plenty more years in her yet, considering the Queen Mother lived until 101, and she's taken the oath to serve until she dies, so um...unlucky for you! Let's hope you dont snuff it before then, eh? (Or not)

Oh and no it's not she 'was' Queen for years, because she still is. And i think you'll find Charles is next in line.

  • @jss1886

Umm The Queen is doing nothing she just sits there and becomes rich every second i mean i know they are just public figures and all but people really want Prince William to be King already. And btw Prince William IS next in line not Prince Charles, get your facts straight.

  • @emeraldeyz23 Prince Charles of Wales is the heir apparent as eldest son of the Queen.

  • @Bluenoser613

I know that.. I am saying that Prince Charles got divorced from Princess Diana so that means that he cant run for King anymore because it says in the Royal laws that whey they get divorced they that be king. So it goes to the person next in line which is Prince William the eldest son of Prince Charles. I am not even British and i know all this.

  • @emeraldeyz23

The Prince of Wales' divorce doesn't effect his position in the order of sucession so he remains the heir apparent. His wife, the Duchess of Cornwall has been divorced before and therfore can't be the Queen Consort.

  • @lukebsearle

The lawful (i.e. recognized by UK law, and not being a Roman Catholic) wife of the King automatically becomes Queen Consort. The Church of England doesn't recognize divorce, so there may be a question of the Archbishop of York--or a substitute bishop of the CoE--refusing to crown Camilla, but as statute stands there is nothing to prevent Charles and Camilla becoming the next King Regnant and Queen Consort of the UK.

  • @baraxor - I dont think Charles will ever be King.Maybe, in some "back-room" deal, Camilla was Charles's reward for agreeing to abdicate for William on the Queen's death.

  • @emeraldeyz23

See: wiki/Line of succession to the British throne

  • @emeraldeyz23 - wow, you obviously don't know what you are talking about.

  • @emeraldeyz23 The Queen is not just a public figure .She is the defender of the faith she can even remove government

  • william NEEDS to be king. cate ALREADY looks like a BEAUTIFUL queen! they will be SO amazing as king and queen, by the already look amazing so.. ;) but i honestly LOVE william and cate. most beautiful couple ever. and cate is GORGEOUS

  • @pnglizzie

LOl when the Queen dies William WILL BE KING :P Prince Charles cannot be king anymore becuase he got divorced so he cant be running for king anymore so it goes automatically to Prince William :D

  • i really like prince william at first i was like what in the world is all the hype about but he really is like his mother, soo compassionate, kind, down to earth sweet loving . i wish him all the happiness him and kate.

  • Amen BigBoss I want william to be king also
