thanks mate, was the vacuuming painful?

  • @kwhatofit nope not at all. it was refreshing and relaxing

  • @heatf1re why did u have the splints in ur nose?

  • @narutojose2 had a corrective nose surgery aka septoplasty.

  • @kwhatofit How was the Nasal Splint removal ?

  • @mynameisdudler

much better than the first time i did it, cause i had my tonsils and adnoids (also in your nose) removed, so the freaking "vacuum" was being jammed in my nose for AGES!

was a piece of cake this time, just had the septum straightened.

  • @kwhatofit yea ... i hear you.

  • The lean for a week or so :) very nice !

  • i wish this never happens to me

  • Owwwwch! He stuc like the whole entire tube vaccum thingy right up ur nose whole:(

  • Wonder if this procedure would help with the whole things stop breathing depending on what side I lay on.

  • @TriaMaxwell i d ask your doctor, it might... who knows

  • @heatf1re With what money? :P Don't have a doctor. All I know is that if I lay on one side too long I can;t breathe on that side, so I have to roll over to open the side back up... Then it closes that side, best to sleep on my belly.

  • @TriaMaxwell Thats what sucks about the US health care system. If you don't have the cash or the insurance, you don't get the treatment. Meanwhile your suffering.

I got my operation and all pre and post of treatment completely free thanks to Australian public health system. I may of had to wait a while but at least it's done.

For your sleeping issues I would recommend trying to sleep with your head at 30 deg, it will help to keep you sinuses open and will be more comfortable.

  • @aussielung thats good man

  • @aussielung

Not true. Anyone going to the hospital in the US gets medical treatment (for free). It's been this way for years and has not changed, but people like to make ignorant and untrue statements for political reasons. I have been to Europe many times (Spain and Italy) because I have family there and I would not call their FREE healthcare a good system. The truth is that if you have money you get treated well, if you use the FREE national healthcare you are treated like cattle.

  • @zhq01 Well I don't know about Europe but in Australia you get the exact same quality care as those who have insurance. Our national health care system rocks is what I am trying to say and we don't have the issues that @TriaMaxwell is being subject to right now with not being able to get a necessary op.

  • @aussielung

I appreciate what you're saying. I just get tired of people insinuating that Americans are dying in the streets or not getting the care they need because they don't have insurance. If you can't afford private insurance in the US, there is medicaid, which is government paid insurance. It just doesn't find you, you have to apply for it. Austrailia is unique because the gov't provides insurance, not the actual care. That is much better than the European system.

  • @zhq01 I never insinuated that US citizens are dying in the streets but the current health care system in the US is flawed, especially considering it's a first world nation. I just can't comprehend the idea of having to apply for Medicaid when I have grown up in a country where I can get treatment for something as simple as a cold to something as complex as cancer without having to jump through hoops. Go to doctor, show the Medicare card, get treated. So fuss, no muss.

  • @aussielung How do you think cutting edge cancer treatments come to be? Without the profit motive that exists in a private health care system, much of the funding dries up and health care gets rationed. It is the natural evolution of nationalized healthcare. So while I agree that no system is perfect, I prefer to take responsibility for myself, pay for my own care, pick my doctors and get the best possible treatment.

  • @zhq01 Cancer research is not paid for by people with private health insurance. That research is paid for with tax dollars, donations and funding from drug companies amongst other things. Your health insurance goes straight to your insurance company and then they doll it out when their customers make a claim.

  • @aussielung In Canada we get free healthcare, but it takes months and months for something that can be done in a day or two in the USA or some other countries. Theres always tradeoffs.

  • @aussielung same with me in canada. gotta love the commonwealth.

  • @aussielung We'd have a fantastic public health system in the states if we had Australia's demographics.

  • @ndzapruder This comment intrigues me. Please elaborate.

  • @aussielung agreed lol

  • @TriaMaxwell i have the same problem

  • @2glocksmcgraw Good news. Got and used my netti pot last night. Friend says I snored less;.

  • its the booger vacum haha

  • the doctor person is hot, jus sayin

  • I can't wait till Friday when I get to have the splints out of my nose.

  • @aussielung yea... those days are not fun hahaha

  • Haha hey reach I was just thinking of that I was like just to be safe

  • Anyone else want to blow their nose after this was over?

  • @Reach207 it was amazing !

  • This hurt when it happened to me1

  • Owwie!

  • to all haters... look at the dislike bar then look at ur penis. no difference

  • is this for blocked synusis? cus i have them and they said i would need an op? but i think im having a different one to this as i had chronic rynitus or summet (basically an infection in your synus) made my right eye swell up massivly and gave me the worse headaches ever. ><

  • @hegybear no its from deviated septum ... i broke it when i was little

  • How old are you and do you know what age this is safe to get done?

  • @MegaIcecream123 i am 24. And it is safe to get done anywhere after you turn 16.

  • @MegaIcecream123 i had this done when i was 13 which was a year ago, and when i was getting the splints removed, HOLY FUCK THE PAIN!

  • what the fuck is that ?

  • why does he have that in his nose?

  • why does he have that in his nose?

  • can they like slowly move up and get stuck :o

  • Haha I wish I had an Asian doctor, he seemed pretty cool. :P

  • It doesn't look like it hurt a lot like some people claimed. Who paid for the procedure? Was it covered by your insurance?

  • @Mish1035 covered by insurance 100%

  • @heatf1re Thank you! That's good to know.

  • I'm really digging Queen playing in the background!

  • That Doctor is sooo asian lol

  • I heard the sucking at 1:22 and I was DONE!!!!!

  • that's got 2 hurt

  • My nose is turned to the right! and im only 12! i'm scared but i think i can pull through!

  • the docter look crazy

  • Just had mine done. Don't think i got nose splints.

  • I had this done.... its a ton of pressure. the only pain i felt was the the suture (which held the splints in) being pulled through the septum

  • winters coming up, where can i get one of those "snot suckers" for when my nose gets stuffy

  • Do you have to do this some point in your life?!!!!

  • D you have to do this some point in your life?!!!!

  • Thanx for the video!!! I'm going to do it!!! I want to BREATHE!!!!

  • @eddouble11 im on day 2 of recovery and the most annoying part of all this is having the splints up my nose...the congestion in the morning when you wake up if you fall asleep is so bad you have to blow our nose slightly even though they say dont.

  • I know the perfect way to clean your nose!

    Equipment: Finger and nose.

Step 1. Put the finger in the nose.

Step 2. Search for shit. Once you feel something grab it.

    Step 3. Take it out.

Step 4. Put it on the wall or stool.

  • @VictumRoManius you forgot

Step 5. When dry and hardened, flick off of wall or stool

CAUTION: deny it was you if found by parent or other authority figure

  • @rickybarningham HAhaha!

  • does that hurt cause im getting mine pulled out soon

  • @freerunner322 nope, it doesnt hurt at all

  • Under Pressure <3

  • I can't wait for my surgery, I'm having it on the 25th. I'm just like the dude in the video, It's been such a long time since i've been able to breath good.

  • @Lepek88 Well, best of luck on it! I've had the operation done the 19th, had my packings removed on the 21st, and getting my splints taken out tomorrow. The first days, with the packings in, are awful, I won't lie, but once you're through those, the rest of the recovery is just uncomfortable rather than painful :)

  • @elstormo Dude your not lying those splints SUCK! I've been waking up at night about every hour just to get a drink, I feel like Jim Carey on Me, Myself and Irene when he takes his medication and gets severe cotton mouth. I get my splints taken out friday and man I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Thanks man!

  • @Lepek88 Well, I'm going to be honest with you, once the splits are out, your nose will still be clogged for a long time afterward, so I wouldn't stop leaving the glass of water on your night stand just yet. My splints have been out for a few days now, and I still can't breathe well enough through my nose to stop mouth-breathing. Still, it'll never be as bad as it was with the packings, so the worst is definitely over for you :)

  • i had rhinoplasty done on mine

  • @albrott

thats more painful and way longer recovery.

  • @heatf1re i got my gauze taken out a week after my surgery then took me 2-3 weeks before it completly healed.

    z

  • Getting my splints of tomorrow! Had a deviated septum the same side you had. Although, they had to zap swelled tissue and pop air pocket deep inside my nose. It's crazy how much the splints bother you! UGH! I was born with it and never been able to breath out of my nose, can't WAIT to breathe for the first time through my nose!

  • hey buddy, what you did the septoplasty? did you do the nose job too? can you explain to me why you did it?.

  • @sexyboysf2013

Just the septoplasty. had a deviated septum for years. It helps me breathe better

  • This looks like a total relief! I am 3 days post op nasal surgery. My splint is just in the way i hate it! Black crusty nostrils and afrin all day to soften the crust and it just backs up with black blood yuck!

but im glad i got this surgery! Breathe time!

  • Queen in the background :)

  • i like ur t shirt

  • does it hurt when the doctor takes those things out? i just got my surgery done yesterday

  • @xAllieBoykin923x nope, it doesnt it just tickles lol

  • @heatf1re okay good lol i hope you're right :) because i'm tired of my nose hurting and i dont wanna deal with anymore pain! lol

  • @xAllieBoykin923x Just take those strong pain killers ( if they are not strong enough for you ask for stronger once) I had norcos those are the only once that worked on me. good luck!

  • @heatf1re have you noticed a difference at all since you've had the surgery? and thanks :)

  • @heatf1re Thx for the video! Had mine removed couple hours ago but didn't get to see the splints. Can't believe how much better I breathe already! Heard lots of horror stories about how painful it was gonna be but it was a mild irritation. Sneezed about 3 times & my eyes watered like crazy but felt so good to have them out I nearly kissed my doc. How long did it take you before your nose was completely healed so that you couldn't feel the inscision or any tenderness? Can you still feel the scar?
