I wish Ayn Rand had actually written the novel her fanboys claim she did. The real novel just doesn't deliver the goods.

This is wonderful, it's like watching Moe and Curly. You could do a series: The Two Stooges Talk Tennesse Williams; The Two Stooges Talk Wittgenstein. I love their little fantasy about how a liberal conspiracy kept the movie from being made. There is nothing unusual about a 20-year delay making a movie in Hollywood; but there is especially nothing unusual when the producers sense that they will be setting fire to their money.

Pitt and Jolie as Rearden and Dagny? I would have paid to see that, unless I had gotten a physical and the doctor had warned me I might die laughing. The fact is, this low-budget clunker found perfect actors for those two parts – Rand would have loved them. I don't myself understand why it has done as poorly as it has – I thought it would make money off every objectivist seeing it 500 times.

@Adeyami1 This is a great, well though out movie. It is weel worth the time , effort and money to watch it.

If you want to understand what is going on today in the United States under Czar Obama -- this is the movie that explains it extremely well. Remeber Czar Hussien Obama's statement that people should only be allowed to make a certain amount of Money? Hussien Obama's Communism and it awful dangers are shown in this movie. Atals Shrigged -- Bravo . Excellent Movie
