I have been playing country music and country rock for over 40 years (guitar and pedal steel guitar) and there is a lot of non traditional so called country music that I dont like and do not listen to BUT Jason seems to have found a sound that is part country, and part swamp music that I really like. His band is made up of very talented musicians and so far he has really done a very good job of producing a good semi country/swamp rock sound. This is just My opinion.
