There is not going to be a rapture. Only the wicked are taken by surprise. Amo 3:7, Rev 3: 1-3, Luke 12:37-46, Mat 16:3, Luke 19:42-44, 1 Thes 5:1-4, Jer 6:10, 16-19. God reveals His plans to His servants, they are prepared and they trust in God, but that day will come upon all who are awaiting a rapture as a thief. They will not be prepared, and they will be lost.
Read ALL of 2 Thes 2, (not 1 verse). Read vs 1-3. It tells you, Jesus will not return until after the man of sin is revealed.
Way to go Daniel. I like your attitude and belief about the Rapture or catching away. I was into believing that the of the Rapture could be figured out. For me personally I chose to not focus on figuring out the day we will be taken home. I chose to focus on the endtime events leading to the Rapture. We still need to take care of business. By that I mean we need to go to work, do our chores to keep the household going, and things like that. Now is the time to do something for God.

I must warn you, though, why do you assume that Mt. 24 has anything to w/ "end of the world?" It is definitely the end of an age, but not world.

How in world do you know that we are closer today than we ever have been to the 'rapture'? Also, surely you've noticed this: Among the many who have predicted a final reckoning between the creator and creation during their own time, (including JC himself), 100% of the prognosticators have been 100% wrong, 100% of the time.
Assuming we're on a finite path, then obviously we're closer to the end than we were yesterday....but that doesn't mean we've even come halfway through whatever this is yet. Some astronomers predict that the sun will go into red giant phase in about 5b years, and the earth will cease to exist. So anyway, about those prognosticators...they're always wrong. Always. Why should I listen to you?

We can know the day and the hour of the rapture and the end of the world. God was saying He would come as a thief in the night for the non elect because they not watching but for God's elect we can know. We are called to be watchers.

I just ordered a Bible for a friend this evening, it is his birthday this weekend and i wanted to give him a present that lasts. Its a really expenisve Bible, the Quote Edition. Good video, brother Daniel. When I first learned about the feasts and Christs fulfilling of them ideologically, I was pretty impressed. Something puzzles me, though. If the rapture happens on the feast of trumpets, doesn't that mean we have some idea of the day? I know it happens every year, but doesn't that mean that every time it passes without happening that we can safely say it won't be for at least one more year?
But, one fascinating thing about that particular holy day is that nobody can accurately foretell the precise moment of it's occurrence until it actually happens.
From what I understand, there is a 2 day variation in the timing.

Not know the day nor the hour is a Jewish Idiom for Rosh Hashana, that day was known as the day which you don't know the day or the hour, because their days begin the previous night, and Rosh Hashana begins during a new moon, and the way they determined the beginning of the day was by the appearance of the moon. The last trump, the feast of trumpets, do tell me, when does the last trump occur? What happens on that day? Jesus comes back, and then we are gathered up with Him, except that is also the day of the Lord isn't it? That is the only time Jesus comes back, he doesn't come twice. Scripture never says that he comes on two separate occasions. We know he comes on Rosh Hoshana after the tribulation, after the sun is darkened, and the moon turned to blood, which according to Nasa, happens 2015 Rosh Hosh

I was raised pre-trib and believed it too until He brought scriptures to my attention.They began leaping of the page at me. He showed me His truth from scripture alone and I had to humble myself and change my position to fit with His truth in the scripture. Jesus said He is coming immediately after the tribulation of those days. Once I saw the truth I saw it throughout many books in the bible, even in Job. Jesus and scripture are clear about His post-trib return. I thank Him for His revelation.

Well, on these certain matters, there are no "facts."
Just beliefs in faith. We Christians believe in teachings from the Bible. As they are not PROVEN, we believe in them by faith.
Science also holds no facts on these matters. For example, Evolution still cannot be proven, and in fact, scientists are even BACKTRACKING from actual proof. Still, similar to us Christians, the Evolutionists go on believing out of faith.

144,000 JEWS is my understanding, the bible says only the Father knows the day and the hour, I doubt that we would know by that, since if Jesus doesn't know yet, well I doubt He would have a hard time figuring it out! I think it is about when the last person or maybe gentile in our dispensation is saved and then Jacob's trouble begins as we are raptured out...or maybe we will go mid-trib. The main thing is to be ready any day, we never know when we might die or Jesus might come back!

You need to be careful brother because God is going to return for His church when we least expect it. Just because you or I may think there's plenty of time left, His return may be sooner than what we believe it is. Remember, not even the angels know when it will be, only the Father Himself will know.

Do a search on YouTube for videos by Mark Biltz, a pastor from Washington who teaches that this Rosh Hashanah very possibly IS the beginning of the tribulation period. He bases this on the celestial signs (blood moons, solar eclipses, etc.,) and biblical history of exactly what Daniel was talking about in this video. Incredibly interesting teachings!

I'm a "pan-trib" believer...it will all pan out! Though I am a watcher...and THIS is so interesting. I've been seeing a whole lot of info on the Feast of Trumpets For example: ((The Feast of Trumpets happens on the "new moon", which is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure. "Of that day or hour no man knows" is an expression referring to this feast, and thus, the rapture.)) Yahshua was actually telling us when...very cool!
They've been saying the rapture is going to happen since 'Jesus' was 'ressurected', and what kind of a statement is "we're closer today than any other day in creation", obviously, if it hasn't happened yet, and you believe it's going to happen, with each passing day you would become closer...

Umm...yeah the feast of trumpets is the first of seven feasts. I believe the rapture will happen when the final feast comes in 2017.

How in world do you know that we are closer today than we ever have been to the 'rapture'? Also, surely you've noticed this: Among the many who have predicted a final reckoning between the creator and creation during their own time, (including JC himself), 100% of the prognosticators have been 100% wrong, 100% of the time.

Assuming we're on a finite path, then obviously we're closer to the end than we were yesterday....but that doesn't mean we've even come halfway through whatever this is yet. Some astronomers predict that the sun will go into red giant phase in about 5b years, and the earth will cease to exist. So anyway, about those prognosticators...they're always wrong. Always. Why should I listen to you?

Men of all time have claim to have the answer to this mystery and have use it to manipulate people because people are afraid to die. Some men say we become trees others say we go to heaven, but the only truth so far is that nobody can tell us for sure. Yeah you might *believe* the answer is in the bible, but that book was written by men with pretty insane purposes.

We can know the day and the hour of the rapture and the end of the world. God was saying He would come as a thief in the night for the non elect because they not watching but for God's elect we can know. We are called to be watchers.
A recent Bibical timeline by familyradio dott comm has found the rapture to be on May 21, 2011 followed by a literal 5 months of Hell on earth and then the end of the universe on Oct 21, 2011. You can read up on it online at their website. Great stuff.

I just ordered a Bible for a friend this evening, it is his birthday this weekend and i wanted to give him a present that lasts. Its a really expenisve Bible, the Quote Edition. Everything God/Jesus say in the Bible is printed in blue. And I prayed to God if i couldnt keep it, cuz its a really cool Bible. Good video, brother Daniel. When I first learned about the feasts and Christs fulfilling of them ideologically, I was pretty impressed. Something puzzles me, though. If the rapture happens on the feast of trumpets, doesn't that mean we have some idea of the day? I know it happens every year, but doesn't that mean that every time it passes without happening that we can safely say it won't be for at least one more year?

Not know the day nor the hour is a Jewish Idiom for Rosh Hashana, that day was known as the day which you don't know the day or the hour, because their days begin the previous night, and Rosh Hashana begins during a new moon, and the way they determined the beginning of the day was by the appearance of the moon. WE DO know when he is coming, it is very clear, I would have thought you knew this considering you use the jewish festivals and feasts as an example. I don't think we'll be raptured.

The last trump, the feast of trumpets, do tell me, when does the last trump occur? What happens on that day? Jesus comes back, and then we are gathered up with Him, except that is also the day of the Lord isn't it? That is the only time Jesus comes back, he doesn't come twice. Scripture never says that he comes on two separate occasions. We know he comes on Rosh Hoshana after the tribulation, after the sun is darkened, and the moon turned to blood, which according to Nasa, happens 2015 Rosh Hosh

Well, the Scripture says that He will gather us up (whether it's pre- mid- or post-tribulation, we don't know), but He will also come back at another point and defeat satan and the antichrist, and will then set up His Kingdom of a New Earth. The New Jerusalem will come down and earth and heaven will be together again like they were at the beginning when God first created Adam and Eve.

What if the Bible teaches the coming of Jesus and the rapture is Post Tribulational. Then you are teaching a false hope. I love you guys and hold nothing against you, but the Bible does not teach pre-trib.
Th focus of our hope is the 2nd coming not an escape plan!
Titus 2:13 is the blessed hope! Not a secret coming, please study to show yourselves approved, then we can encourage every to stand fast in these dark days ahead.

Many Christians believe different things about the end times and there's no way we'll know for sure until we get to the other side of it.
I personally understand scripture to teach a rapture followed by a tribulation period.
I fail to see how anyone can read anything differently, but I am willing to be wrong.

I was raised pre-trib and believed it too until He brought scriptures to my attention.They began leaping of the page at me. He showed me His truth from scripture alone and I had to humble myself and change my position to fit with His truth in the scripture. Jesus said He is coming immediately after the tribulation of those days. Once I saw the truth I saw it throughout many books in the bible, even in Job. Jesus and scripture are clear about His post-trib return. I thank Him for His revelation.

Brothers if this is true how do people get saved during the tribulation? Do they get saved w/o the Holy Spirit? 2 Thess 2:1-3 Paul tells us that the falling away comes first then Anti-christ then the gathering (rapture) takes place. Please look into this as you will be seting up for a false hope that God never taught.
The Bible teaches post trib coming of our Lord, I share this with great love.
The Bible focuses on Jesus's 2nd coming not the rapture, Titus 2:13=the blessed Hope!!

Well, on these certain matters, there are no "facts."
Just beliefs in faith. We Christians believe in teachings from the Bible. As they are not PROVEN, we believe in them by faith.
Science also holds no facts on these matters. For example, Evolution still cannot be proven, and in fact, scientists are even BACKTRACKING from actual proof. Still, similar to us Christians, the Evolutionists go on believing out of faith.
Christians just get to live a life of Hope and Promise. A wonderful life :)

144,000 JEWS is my understanding, the bible says only the Father knows the day and the hour, I doubt that we would know by that, since if Jesus doesn't know yet, well I doubt He would have a hard time figuring it out! I think it is about when the last person or maybe gentile in our dispensation is saved and then Jacob's trouble begins as we are raptured out...or maybe we will go mid-trib. The main thing is to be ready any day, we never know when we might die or Jesus might come back!

I doubt that it will be this year. Seriously, today or tommorow? its a long shot. There are still millions out there ready to get saved. I think the rapture will be at a point where the sin in the world will be spiraling so out of control that the chances of anyone getting saved are 0. i think we have alot of time left

there must be come back of the dragon, fall of the babylon and antichrist "saving" people, 7 years peace and then wars, presecutions of christians and so on.

I dont agree with you on the rapture. I used to be a pre-tribber but not any longer. I believe Jesus will only come back once, not twice.
I am also not sure if I agree with you on the Holy Spirit issue. There will be folks saved in the tribulation, which would mean the HS would have to again be here on earth.

Do a search on YouTube for videos by Mark Biltz, a pastor from Washington who teaches that this Rosh Hashanah very possibly IS the beginning of the tribulation period. He bases this on the celestial signs (blood moons, solar eclipses, etc.,) and biblical history of exactly what Daniel was talking about in this video. Incredibly interesting teachings!

Nothing is a waste if it's done for the glory of God.
Despite whenever He comes for us, He fully expects us to be pursuing whatever it was that He called us to do.
Even if Christ came back right this very minute, that book might be a HUGE blessing in the hands of someone who will desperately need it.

What if is a good question. What if it's post trib (I don't know)? What makes us think that God will save us from trouble when he did not save (from persecution) the christians in the Roman games?
Live every day as though Christ will return but I think we'll be around to see some VERY interesting time; and difficult.

My family is too adamant in their atheism to even listen to what I have to say. No matter how hard I try to sway them, they still think our Lord was a joke.
It's really painful. Having a family who was raised that way, and just too stubborn to change, to allow Him to enter their lives and save them...

I know you probably have done this but maybe try fasting and praying for them instead of talking directly to them about it.Don't forget our battle isn't against flesh but principalities and powers, meaning you will most likely not win over your family to christ until the spirit that is blocking them from the truth is defeated.Fasting is a great spiritual tool amazing things can happen when you do it

I see what you're saying, but I'm not sure if salvation is going to work the same way on the other side of the rapture.
Today, when we get saved, the Holy Spirit indwells us.
He won't be doing that after the rapture.
So, people will probably have to make the choice to serve God, using their own power and will at that time.
And, besides, it's not an 'I told you so.'
It's a 'We tried to tell you.'

Scripture says if we do not have the Spirit of Christ then we are none of His. You must have the Holy Spirit to be saved. We can't do it in our power now, they certainly won't be able to do it when they are threatened with beheading and starvation during the worst trials ever known to man. Write me...let's discuss Jesus coming in scripture.

I'm a "pan-trib" believer...it will all pan out! Though I am a watcher...and THIS is so interesting. I've been seeing a whole lot of info on the Feast of Trumpets For example: ((The Feast of Trumpets happens on the "new moon", which is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure. "Of that day or hour no man knows" is an expression referring to this feast, and thus, the rapture.)) Yahshua was actually telling us when...very cool!

They've been saying the rapture is going to happen since 'Jesus' was 'ressurected', and what kind of a statement is "we're closer today than any other day in creation", obviously, if it hasn't happened yet, and you believe it's going to happen, with each passing day you would become closer...
Why do christians use such dirty tactics?
