John Laurinaitis, head of WWE talent relations, basically in charge of hirings and firings in the company(though Stephanie just got the position above him). There has been talk that he's being pressured to hire more bikini models, so it basically negates the point of these Diva searches if they can just as easily hire these girls out themselves, then again it might just be easier with the diva search.

WWE already has John Cena to appeal to women. Lol I think that's one of WWE's biggest problems. Very few of their roster members actually appeal to all demographics of fans because it's really hard to do that. But if they had someone that had that wide appeal, it could be their next big star. That's why I believe CM Punk could be so huge for WWE is because he appeals to pretty much everyone. But yeah that's something I think WWE is missing.

It has been reported that USA Network wants RAW to go 3 hours and Vince doesn't want to do that so why not split the difference and put the WWE Diva Search on Monday night at 8PM as a 1 hour lead into RAW for 7 weeks or if Vince really wants to piss of TNA put the show on Thursday's at 9PM.

Over all I agree with you but I do have to say that the person they end up with as the winner of the WWE Diva Search do seem to all want to be in the WWE and want to be in the business.

You are completely right about the women that they should go after. The other change I would make is do what they did originally with Tough Enough and make it a serperate show so it doesn't take away from the other shows.

Unless Victoria has improved vastly in the last year or so I wouldn't consider her all that great a shakes as a worker. Mickie James is the one good wrestler in the women's division (her matchs with Trish were as good as any men's wrestling).

-Krystal Marshall

-Ashley Massaro

There are a couple others on the roster, but hey've had near no impact so far. These women have had some positive impact on the WWE.

Diva search is also bad because it multiplies pointless eye candy, which was another mistake WCW made in its last years (odd note: WWE had a negative cash flow for the half year ending in December, which isn't a good sign).

Agreed. I think that, and as much as I hate to say this, John Laurinatis AKA Johnny Ace is someone who should take alot of the blame. Since he came into the WWE as talent relations the amount of divas with no passion has gone up... not to mention body builders with no passion. I think they should just go for women wrestlers and add in a woman with the playboy look every now and then.
