I think i know what happened: on the right there are two buses parked the back one obviously didn't see the porsche had parked in the bus stop. When the third bus comes along it blocks the the back buses view of the road where the Mondeo is sitting. Once the thurd bus passes the driver pulls out thinking it's clear but suddenly sees the Mondeo and trys to swerve hitting the Bus stop and Porsche. So it's an accident that could have been prevented 3 people responsible, Bus, Porsche, Mondeo

@MrAlab78 from personal experience these types of buses can suffer from what some drivers call a power surge,,,it can happen if you give a full application of the accelerator and the fuel pump can become wedge in the full open position causing the engine to run at full power, and this will easily over power the brakes. The only way to stop is to knock transmission into neutral and switch engine off,driver was probably taken by surprise and was trying to avoid collision,
@schl0tte nope,not only in the usa,we've had several similar incidents on our fleet of darts that use the cummins b series engine,circa 1995,the next batch that we recieved was in 1998 and the linkages on the fuel pump had been modified,the offending linkage was the modulator rod that connects the gear box to fuel pump, this rod used to drop out of its fixing on wide throttle openings and wedge fuel pump in the open positon,on later engines this rod is secured by a bolt instead of a spring clip
@MrAlab78 incidentally the linkages on the fuel pumps were subsequently modified,,,,,,seems a bit unfair to blame the driver without first really knowing what happened......fortunately for me, my incidence of this very problem occurred on an open stretch of road where i was able to react and regain control,,,,that guy didn't stand a chance, it all just happened at once,,,,do you really think he's going to demolish a bus shelter and 2 cars just because he can????

Doesn't look like this had anything to do with the Porshe being there. Obviously the driver wasn't paying much attention, cause that was totally avoidable. In fact, but the bus went off the road and smashed through the glass shelter. Seems like the bus was going way too fast, and lost control. I also didn't see any mention of the car sitting in the middle of the road, or that when you're looking down the road, the traffic comes at you from the right side of the road. Not the porshe's fault.

@MrAlab78 from personal experience these types of buses can suffer from what some drivers call a power surge,,,it can happen if you give a full application of the accelerator and the fuel pump can become wedge in the full open position causing the engine to run at full power, and this will easily over power the brakes. The only way to stop is to knock transmission into neutral and switch engine off,driver was probably taken by surprise and was trying to avoid collision,

@schl0tte nope,not only in the usa,we've had several similar incidents on our fleet of darts that use the cummins b series engine,circa 1995,the next batch that we recieved was in 1998 and the linkages on the fuel pump had been modified,the offending linkage was the modulator rod that connects the gear box to fuel pump, this rod used to drop out of its fixing on wide throttle openings and wedge fuel pump in the open positon,on later engines this rod is secured by a bolt instead of a spring clip

@MrAlab78 incidentally the linkages on the fuel pumps were subsequently modified,,,,,,seems a bit unfair to blame the driver without first really knowing what happened......fortunately for me, my incidence of this very problem occurred on an open stretch of road where i was able to react and regain control,,,,that guy didn't stand a chance, it all just happened at once,,,,do you really think he's going to demolish a bus shelter and 2 cars just because he can????

@crotchrocket3000 Yes, apparently these cctv cars have exemptions from the rules but the reason for why parking in certain areas etc is illegal is that is blocks traffic or pedestrians BUT magically these cars (or police vehicles not at an emercency, etc) don't have the same effect as you or I?

@GTAIVPOLICE yep, and they're taking the hands off the controls for the camera on the van. One person sits inside and controls the camera & one or 2 ride up front. Either that or they're moving the van out of the way so services can attend to the crash more easily? could be, but I think the van is quite far away, otherwise the woman wouldn't have parked her porsche in front of it

Doesn't look like this had anything to do with the Porshe being there. Obviously the driver wasn't paying much attention, cause that was totally avoidable. In fact, but the bus went off the road and smashed through the glass shelter. Seems like the bus was going way too fast, and lost control. I also didn't see any mention of the car sitting in the middle of the road, or that when you're looking down the road, the traffic comes at you from the right side of the road. Not the porshe's fault.
