I can do the death mountain descent glitch right before I defeat Agahnim. If I have the moon pearl. I can try it on either the SNES/Wii or even a GBA. @Chrisu59 It's possible with gba version. I'm not sure it was this exact bug. But I've done a lot of glitching in aLotP a few years ago :)

I have been trying to do this trick for about 4 hours now. yeah sounds desperate. I just like the idea of it. I am playing on a rom tho. does it work on roms?

Well I own the game yea? But my SNES is broken so I used a ROM as well. When I recorded it the gameplay was slightly laggy and therefore made it much easier to accomplish.

I don't anymore, but it was a classic when I was growing up, I mean the last time I played it on the SNES was when I was 7 so yea.

Basically it let's you enter the Darkworld and explore the entire map very early in the game, much earlier than your supposed to. In which you get items you shouldn't even have yet, early on, making the replay value increase a bit.
