I have a problem.

When I tried to play metal slug xx,as usual startup screen,then a purple screen,then fades to black but the game won't bring me to the "Press Start Button" screen.

Can anyone fixed this,I think it has something to do with the advance setup....

I had experienced the same problem, same as yours, but I already solved it. You must use m33 driver to play this game.

Sorry mate to tell you this: I dont have the EDAT file. you need to get that from PSN.

I dont need that coz im using CWcheat to access her as she is ALREADY in it even without DLC.
