I bet the guy who thought of the Pet Rock thing is swimming in money right now where he got lucky selling rocks to kids, tweens, and teens everywhere.
Don't forget drive by shootings, crack, oxy heads. guns fights and knife fights instead of fists. rap music (?). YO YO YO V-TEC YO. 'Juggalos' and texting/sexting and MySpace.
@vorevox The 70s had the least of driveby shootings, gun fights, and knife fights when compared the decades that followed. Crack was introduced in the 80s. 80s had Aids, crack, and most violent gang drug wars. 90s had rodney king beating, o.j. murders, riots, government killing civilians, plenty of school shootings, and mass terrorist attacks. 2000-2010 had 9-11 attack, plenty of terrorist plots, mostly crap music, tv, and movies. I'll take the 70s any day over the decades that followed.

@pakleglia Fuck yes having your pants dragging on the ground with your ass showing is reterded. And fuck yes people in the 70s are probably smarter than these crack-head people around now!
@cicitheechincbat Anyone who wanted gag props or gag toys. Pranks were common among kids and teenagers in the 70s, fake vomit, whoopi cushions, custer hat with arrow going through it, etc.
Three of these are more 60's fads. Etch-a-sketch came out around 1960, Lava Lamps came out in the mid-60's, and Muscle cars are more of a 1965-71 thing as well.
