The tenor section is forcing their chest voice up into higher notes, which makes a pressed sound.(other than the girls singing tenor, also not good) Basses pushing for D above middle C? That's not that high at all, and sopranos need to sing on pitch. Okay dynamics, but tone quality could be improved.

my choir sang this in fall 2007. i love this song. one thing our director did that i LOVED was he made sopranos (not all of them) take the last note up to a high B. i think it made the ending more dramatic. good job with this though! i'm a bass, and those notes are pretty high for a bass part. vive l'amour makes the basses sing a high F, not fun. why am i rambling? but anyway great job!

this song is best either going very fast or very slow. if you take it at a tempo in between it doesnt really sound right. im a tenor and i sang this song in a missouri district choir. and we took it about two or three times as fast.

in this song, the high portions from the men are sung by the tenors and baritones and basses, and for a bass and most baritones, those notes are not normally sung

This isn't bad, but it's not very spiritual. Listen to the Central Islip choir on youtube perform this. It's a high school choir, but it's much better in my opinion.
