  • @alexandros1821 Dude, people from ancient times are the descendants of modern Kurds? Um.... that makes no sense ..... peace out and i love you for posting this by the way. My grimy fingers speak grimy love upon you

  • HA HA HA WE INDIAN ARE DEFEAT ALEXANDER !

  • @souro19 U guys or malaria?? thank the mosquitoes buddy

  • @yanar89 INDIAN MALARIA FUCKED THE ALEXANDER MOM ASS !

  • Alexander Lord Of Asia? No way man.He didnt conquered China and Sothern India

  • @ali4330 he might not had conquer india or china but he is one of the great that no leader was strong enough to defeated him.

  • @ali4330 i am a big Alexander fan, but i have to agree with my man right here that he was never the lord of Asia, not even lord of Persia, i consider he is lord of Macedonia only, what pathetic is just what a big bluffer the westerner is!!

  • i wish this guy wouold stick to the subject. we spent a little too much time watching him wave at farmers and eating watermelon. HOW ABOUT SOME INFORMATION ABOUT ALEXANDER?

  • well the persians rose again and recreated their empire, which then fell to the muslims. sadly alexander was not able to create a more stable state due to his premature death, which led to centuries of violence.

  • still today the opossite sides are the same

  • Macedonians are greeks, if you re talking about FYROM, they do not know even one word of the language that alexander the great was speaking, they are slavs. Ignorant nationalists that their education is minus zero.

  • you type to wrong mate ! never FYRO'M' cuz that M means macedonia :P also FYRO

  • /watch?v=Q36tSlVBlvU

National Geographic maps of the Balkans states 1915 - 2006.

FYROM: HOW A LIE BECOME TRUE

  • what the hell does he mean the invasion of persia had begun it begun when he entered turkey

  • well turkey was territory ruled by the persians but iran was the native territory of persia,

  • Alexander was a person that most of the times it was needless to make battle, he was almost ecouraged by the local people to pass from their places in order to free them from the local tyranny. He was that brought the greek customs to the East. That learned to indians not to kill their fathers at 60, to egyptians the medicine etc... He was the greater of the Greeks.

  • 1st book of maccabbess.

  • Indeed, history won't allow us to erase the importance of Persia. The great king Philip II learnt a lot from the Persians and a lot of his strategic thinking was influenced by the Persian Empire... e.g, the introduction of satrapies.

  • You are a moron.

  • True. He basically understood the need for homogonisation if he was to rule Persia. The problem is, the personality that conquers an Empire is rarely one capable of sustaining one. He was a dissilusioned, paranoid (with good reason) drunk toward the end. Like a conscientious rock star, he died young, ensuring his immortality. If he had lived to 85, I doubt we'd talk about him so much ..

  • @cgavin1 its true wat u said if he lived long like that i wounder too if we will be talking about him soo much

  • This weird. Commentary on AWACS.

  • we respect persian civilization!we just won them and we had greater civilazation but they were great too!!

  • actuly greeks didnt respect it at all, persians didnt respect greeks..it was WAR, both greeks and persians fought and got killed bravely defending their country and religion.. now its up to us in 21th century to honor and salut and respect those warriors greeks as well as persians..

ps: back then if persia and greeks was going to unite and have peace (like EU now) we would made a hell of empire!!

  • it was war that shaped history not peace

  • my friend, history is made what ever you have war or peace. history is time bound not war bounded.

  • no war means no territory, no territory means no countries, no countries means no stories and no stories means no history, so history was war bounded

  • So i guess we remeber "the first man on moon" by chance.. sience he wrote the history by beeing first man on moon and he didnt kill any one, or clinton will be forgoten "erased" from american history cuz he didnt made a war,

one of the oldest kings that world remeber was cyrus. and he was anti warr, he was even first one to bring up human right...no warr no slave.. strange still he is in every history book that its about that time..

  • yeah right, who are you, some kinda wise guy

  • @smile221981 they were diferent, persian empire still alive even at roman empire but grrek empire no, they were just diferent, and greeks were better at this time

  • @smile221981 who is we? you and your boys?

  • Free Kurdistan.

    Long live Kurdistan!

  • some thing must exist first to get freed or having a long /short life..

show my "kurdistan" and ill free it my self.. but until that day u find a country named kurdistan..Good luck

  • Great documentary on the famous Greek conqueror

  • Assimilating 15+ million Kurds in turkey, flattening & burning 4ooo villages, millions of refugees, thousands of political prisoners, denying Kurdish identity what make the core of Turkish constitution, this is why it's difficult for the Turkish Armey, government and nationalists to admit to the terror and genocide committing against the helpless Kurds in Turkish Kurdistan.

  • ...how the hell did part 9 of a documentary of Alexander The Great have commentaries on Turkish government...LOL

  • great stuff

  • Amazing, thanks

  • so your saying 'japan' is related to the persian empire?

  • no offence but that was a little bit of bullshit

  • @19cohen why? you are one of the guys who thinks numbers > skills? |:

  • you mean persians used to kill and rape women at that time they never cared about anyones freedom

  • read a bit history mate it wouldnt hurt..

and most likely get some fact before u speak..

persians was first to come up with human rights. look after "cyrus cylinder". im not naiv that says rape and killing never happend.. but in what war no1 was raped? late as vietnamn womans got raped and killed by americans on X, how many womans and kids did die in irak?

  • what is irak , O did you mean IRAQ , the women and kids that the american christian crusade terrorists have killed are over 1,000,000 , more that Saddam killed in 30 years .

if your media dont allow you to be edgucated politically it dont mean that what ever you never did hear of is not a fact for enexample other western contries allow aljazeera english channel but it is banned in the U.S , thats why the whole world is laughing at the ignorant americans.

  • donthakiller: it looks like you kurish have your own books of history lol were did you get this info from post the site let us know.

  • Great documentary on the famous Greek conqueror, love the bit about Kurdistan too.

  • when 360 b.c 120000 greek soldiers from the royal army "invaded" kurdistan wich was called kardok in that time and then NOT A SINGLE troop came back to greece and no one heard of them wich means the kurdish warriors slaughtered them, so how can a nation wich got defeated by 60000 men rule over a nation wich slaughtered 120000 men?? sounds pretty strange to me

  • maybe thats why he was known as the great

  • I'll say !

  • great documentary!!!!
