A happy ending just creates more jealousness, in all common sense. Ever heard the saying "Peace is War"? Someone loses this war, people are aware of that. That bird won the war, making him happy. Reality lies within his head, which isn't so insane, when someone is at such a disadvantage like that. Try thinking of that some time. Bedtime stories like Harry Potter have unfortunately misshaped your way of thinking.

You surely lost some of the original meaning, but let's be honest, nobody would want good, nice people like Kiwi die.. There's just too few of them left in the world..So thanks for giving a few people a chance to smile at him one more time..I liked both, the original for its meaning, this one for Kiwi's double victory..Not only he flew, he landed! Nice job Little Friend!

Keep in mind, this wasn't made for us, it was made for the author. And anyone else who couldn't stand the loss of Kiwi. So even though your not the audience, you can still appreciate a piece of work. Being against something with no reason is ordinary. Lets change it up a bit

"Audience" was refering to the people who couldn't stand thoughts of the little guy being dead, not the full, everyone who watches, audience. I agree, that destroys the meaning of the original.
Happy endings are not always good, they stop us from empathising with characters because it's not a believable story.
I hate the way Hollywood cops out of good stories with a happy ending. I watched The Family Man around christmas time, if I ever saw a film that should have ended tragically it was that. But no, for some reason she believes his insane rantings and doesn't go to Paris. Ruined the film.

Thanks for the new ending. Doing something garanteed to kill you stops you from ever ejoying it again. I though you would solve it with a pool of water, but a parachute was a nice surprise.

A happy ending just creates more jealousness, in all common sense. Ever heard the saying "Peace is War"? Someone loses this war, people are aware of that. That bird won the war, making him happy. Reality lies within his head, which isn't so insane, when someone is at such a disadvantage like that. Try thinking of that some time. Bedtime stories like Harry Potter have unfortunately misshaped your way of thinking.
