  • This tune is fucking insane.

  • I love it how when you look at Karnivools video's there are only comments of love and what not, compared to Tool's vids when there are only comments of arrogance and conflict. Yes Tool are amazing and truly are unique in every way, but no need to get all cocky saying theyre the only band in the world who have a mind expanding show....Am i right?

  • this song is fuckin amazing...i wanna show you so much more i've been waiting

  • Comparing these guys with Midnight Oil is actually pretty close to the mark. Creative & distinctive guitar partnership, powerful & unique bass playing, selected use of keys/technology for enhancement, and a charismatic, yet non-conventional vocalist with a hint of unhinged vulnerability. Can't work out why I didn't think of it before.

  • Jon Stockman is seriously one of the best bassists I have ever had the pleasure of seeing live, simply amazing

  • @HollowRoseMedia So true dude, so true. I stood in front of his rig last night. Like you say - simply amazing.

  • So much LSD

  • The live mix is crazy good.

  • Probably the best song in the history of the universe. No wait, definitely.

  • @FlamingIceCubez true story!

  • Ian Kenny, for the fucking win!

  • wow this is one of the best bands i have ever heard they need to make some more badass albums and shit

  • Just discovered these guys. They're amazing. Very unique sound, so I don't see the need for all the "omg they're ripping off t00L!!1!1!" comments on almost every single one of their vids. Granted I love Tool too, but I just don't see the need for so much negativity during comparisons. My current favorite band (Porcupine Tree) has been compared to Pink Floyd all the time, too, and I'm tired of it. Let each band be it's own band, and if you wanna discuss influences, please do so in a kind manner.

  • holly fuck i was at this gig!!

  • hes an awkward dude on stage...its a good thing though haha

  • @joelrulesall my dad and i described him as the new peter garret

  • @FLIPPYNMADZ your lucky as shit to have a dad that listens to them....my dad listens to fuckin ABBA and shania twain ahhaa

  • @joelrulesall

i love it especially since my friends dont like the music i do

Its not just Karnivool its most music and it sure helps when convincing him to go to concerts cause he wants to come with me.

haha your dads music taste sounds like my mums

  • love the guitarist in socks.

  • Seeing them in a few weeks :D so excited.

  • wow he looks like SUCH A FUCKING DUMBASS at 4:30.....trying to imitate maynard and shit

  • @sonicthevampire9 who cares man? Both bands are REALLY good. No need for fighting about it.

  • yeh definately looks like maynard

  • that owned.

  • i love open mided people who find similarities between bands like karnivool and apc or tool. its not the absolute sound. its the atmosphere that makes them alike. Tools.

  • wow

  • saw these guys here in kentucky. FUCKING SWEET!!!

  • This is absolutely amazing! =)

  • The first time I heard Karnivool I could immediately spot the Tool influence in their music. Sound Awake is like Lateralus but sounds being more pop-esqued in a way.

  • Sound Awake is nothing like Lateralus!

Just tell me. where u hear something toolish? just sick of those who say things like that.

  • @Vool5 The Tool/Vool comparison comes from the rhythm sections. It's a complement. Relax.

  • "how the fuck did they know??" 5:05

    hahaha love kenny :D

  • @datswotimtknbout yeah he always does that live : D

  • yep I saw them in wollongong on friday night and they were epic!! Air con was not working in the venue at waves and it was a sweaty mess...so good though.

  • Karnivoolfuckin rock... just saw them 2 nights ago. Itwas deadset 45 degrees inside the venue andyet they gave every ounce of energy they had!!!!! Awesome!!!!

  • very similar dude. But just as good, so if you like Tool, have a listen to these guys for sure

  • i prefer karnivool if im honest. theyre more accessible than tool i think

  • More accessible and more original, and just better overall. Great band, one of the few out there still making honest music.

  • i dont like Tool, but i like these guys =)

  • haha kenny goes nuts

  • fucking awesome recording dude

  • 4:26 MAYNARD ALL OVER!

  • that is, the one on the right hand side :)

  • if your faceing from the back of the stage... im gonna shut up now lol :)

  • haha! i played at that stage for the q song awards in 2009!!!! i was right where the guitarrists is ! :) soz im excited, there just so awsome :)

  • drew is on the left with no shoes, hoss has the light hair

  • This i about as activae as you see temat any show....they're all enjoying it!

  • Was there, and unbelievable concert. Their music is definetely in a league of its own, simply mind blowing.

  • These guys just keep getting better! Though the only people on stage that look like they are enjoying themselves are Kenny and their bass guitarist!

They all need to rock out like the bass guitarist!

  • Lol good ol' Jono. He's my cuz =)...believe it or not. But yeah he lives for enjoyment in music =)

  • dude ur couzin is the sickest bass player ever ur fuckin lucky do u live in perth?

  • Lol yer he's amazing. Great at piano and so many other instruments. I dunno how he does it. Love i guess. I play too, its in the hardy/stockman blood =P Well thats the shit thing, i live in NNE NSW where his grandparents live. Only see him once every few years =( but facebook helps =P
