    It is very dear to me thanks to my Taid ( Grandad )

    We never sang it in school really but used to sing it with Taid a lot when I was younger, that cover of it was truly fantastic.

  • thank you for sharing! my dad used to sing to me in welsh as a child here in new zealand and he sounded just like these lovely voices!

    Dads family lived and still live in angelsea,conway areas he passed away last year and i am missing him heaps, this song is lovely to listen and helps me to feel close to my dad! thanks so much

  • Do you know where I can find the song Yfory (Tomorrow, I know part of the first verse translates something like) "everyone in the office says farewell"

    "Maen pawb wedi dwued farwell, bydd nosson beth ol am amser...

    Really sorry for the awful spelling etc. thats all I can remember and my Welsh spelling is really bad '^^

  • diolch yn fawr (thank you very much) for your intrest in wales! there is ia film called twin town starring rhys ifans in which he played adam sandler's brother (the bonde one) in little nicky and he is welsh! any way the film is set in my home city of swansea on the south west coast of wales! there are probably clips on youtube!

I have lived here 12 years, but I have a need to return to my homeland, so I'm going back with my husband and children, who arrived in Australia when they were 2 and 3, and are now 13 and 14.
