Do you know where I can find the song Yfory (Tomorrow, I know part of the first verse translates something like) "everyone in the office says farewell"
"Maen pawb wedi dwued farwell, bydd nosson beth ol am amser...
(chorus) dim ond a noson, dim ond a nosson yfory feth fythaf an ol..."
Really sorry for the awful spelling etc. thats all I can remember and my Welsh spelling is really bad '^^
Any help would be very welcome,
I Love this song too, I remember sing it in choir ^-^ Diolch!!
Wonderful! Would like to know which place of Wales are those images from...
Heres how a Catalan-speaker as me sing a part of this song even though Im an ignorant about Welsh language. Thanks a lot for this song that I love. Cheers.
I do wish I could understand what they where saying, but I love listening to songs sung in differant langues, anyway. This is so pretty! with the waves in the backround in the first part, just great!
I don't know why, but I just like the Welsh people and Wales. Have never been there, have never met anyone from wales. I think in another life I must have lived in Wales. This song is beautiful. I live in the US.
diolch yn fawr (thank you very much) for your intrest in wales! there is ia film called twin town starring rhys ifans in which he played adam sandler's brother (the bonde one) in little nicky and he is welsh! any way the film is set in my home city of swansea on the south west coast of wales! there are probably clips on youtube!
Hello there, I wanted to reply to your email because I am from Wales, but live in Australia. I have lived here 12 years, but I have a need to return to my homeland, so I'm going back with my husband and children, who arrived in Australia when they were 2 and 3, and are now 13 and 14. They are very excited to return to Wales and be part of the culture, heritage and history. Take care, Andrea :)
Da iawn am hon. Can mor berffaith di o.
Can annwyl iawn imi diolch i fy nhaid.
Well done for this, it's a perfect song.
It is very dear to me thanks to my Taid ( Grandad )
We never sang it in school really but used to sing it with Taid a lot when I was younger, that cover of it was truly fantastic.

Lots of people don't like Welsh or their accents but I think it's brilliant. Is this you singing it? Because it's amazing! xx

You have to roll your 'r's. It sounds strange if you don't.

The soloist was giving the honey voice, but the Saesneg "r" was a pity. Please try my video on rolling the 'r' and see if it helps!
