@Elaiyel I never liked Malick for Dan. I think Malick was used as a gateway for Dan realizing that he couldn't hide being gay from himself much longer. That's usually how it is for late bloomer newbies in the real world. One relationship or encounter to get them to figure themselves out, then a real one later when they're a little better prepared to accept themselves. Think that may happen to Dan soon
