One of my IM friends who lives in England told me about this show and sent me a link to one of thier episodes, ever since then I have just fallen for Sooty he is the most adorable thing ever! :D God I wish they had a American destribution for PBS when I was little I would have watched the hell out of this show!
Had this tune in my head for months but couldn't remember where it was from. Then I had a brain storm and thought it was Sooty. Was so pleased when I heard this. So glad to have grown up with kids TV like this.

Awww I use to love this when I was little..I even named my two fishies Sooty and Sweep when I was about 5 or 6. Happy days :-)
