The show was not bad but what would have made it better was if they had something original!

as a guest which sucks.

Bottom line, Hasselhoff should come back as a guy behind a desk supporting his son and at times drive the original KITT and the new KITT side by side.

Now that would make the show more badass!!!

KITT the Knight 2000 was/is a Trans Am, KITT the Knight 3000 is a Mustang. There is a difference, a big one.

This KITT is a whole new AI, not the one from the original series, give it a chance already.

I'm a ford fan having owned a red GT convertible, but I agree KITT should not be a Mustang. Mustangs don't say hi-tech and I don't like that specific design that much.

absolutely terrible...this has got to be the worst idea anyone in the entertainment business has ever come up with...KITT is not an F'n mustang...and should never be one...and how the hell is the son of Michael Knight gonna have the last name Traser when Michael Knights real name was Michael Long...where the hell does Tracer come from...its a dark day for Knight Rider fans everywhere...i wanna meet the guy who wrote this...and spit in his face...then write the new Knight Rider movie myself...

Fans of the original show should band together and petition the hell out of NBC. KITT is a Trans Am, not a fugly Ford. This is the general consensus of the fanbase, and I'm sure even most n00b kids will think this show is total crap.

I agree fully K.I.T.T should be a Trans Am, no doubt about that. Even further, technically speaking the new K.I.T.T should be the Knight 4000. There has been a Knight 3000 of which the Knight 2000 was installed into. Is there any good reason as to why the new K.I.T.T is a Mustang ? A 2000 Trans Am would have been a nice candidate.

Oh well guess we have to accept the show for how it is.

Watched the pilot on NBC, it was alright... kinda bland though and reminded me too much of TKR. The entire time they just kept running Mustang commercials. Yeah they woulda done the same thing if it was a T/A. But then I wouldn't have minded so much... =P I don't expect the show to last more than 10 episodes.

True, sure there are no 2008 T/A's but they could have used an older model and upgraded it. However guess we have to give the show a chance, maybe K.I.T.T will return with upgrades then the show would become more interesting.
