NIN - Ruiner (Live 1994) Cut Begining

I saw NIN on the Self Distruction Tour of 1994 in manchester. I was 16 years old and a nice few gigs into seeing live bands. They were fucking awesome and me and my mate had a great night. The only downer of the evening was the fact that they didn't bother to come back on and do an encore! Everybody was a bit pissed off at that. Ah well, never mind, ho-hum, and all that!

Seeing NIN live the first time being on the Fragility Tour 2000 had to be one of the best concerts I ever paid money for...then of course I followed the With Teeth Tour a few times, watched things change. Sure as time goes on Trent will still be jamming well through his 40s.

this song is amazing, especially how Robin's solo is so fucking hypnotic, then runs into the guitar/synthesizer, fucking badass and Trent's vocals at the end. Self Destruct Tours as well as Woodstock 94' had to have been just an amazing era in NIN history. Lolla 1991 was big exposure for NIN as well to promote the PHM and some of the Broken album. Then again Hate 1990 was a big tour too.

This solo is almost like a thrash metal solo, which is differnt from sound of studio release. Rhythm guitar bit is also more pronounced because he plays palm muted chords. I guess that their old guitarist preferred to play industrial/thrash as opposite to pure industrial metal. How may guirarist played for NIN between 1994 and 2007?
