I heard this song for the first time at BigStuf 2011, and this became our youth group's song for the week haha. We all would just randomly start singing it, and it was so soothing. :) This is just an amazing song that carries a wonderful message. It's haunting in a good way, and I love it!

I thought I was in love with my best friend. I gave him everything I physically could, even a certain special thing you're supposed to save. I knew he didn't love me, but I stayed. He had a girlfriend, but we were still together, the situation became toxic. We destroyed everything, and are no longer friends. It's sad, but now that it's over and done with, I'm happy. I have unexplained happiness, happiness I haven't had in a year. I thank God for forgiving me, and making me better.

You can tell by looking at their life where their trust is. Trust in Him. Seek first the kingdom of God. The kingdom is within you. Don't judge God based on the people who follow Him.

"The Lamb's Supper" and his lecture "The Healing Power of Confession" are amazing! Also Stanley Hauerwas is an amazing Theologian as well. If you are willing to do a lot of thinking and reflection, Flannery O'Connor, Annie Dillard, Claudia Rankine, Viktor Frankl, and Graham Greene are superb!
@RunescapeM0d5 Other Christians will tell you the people I have received truth from are liars and some Christians will agree with me that they are awesome teachers and preachers. I receive truth from both these kinds of Christians. I even receive truth from non-believers. I didn't learn everything I know from believers. If I stay humble and honor all men and women even if I don't value their particular theology, if there's any truth in them, God will speak it through them to me.

I remember they played this song at my confrimation retreat yesterday. I was never happier in my entire life, and i have never cried so hard in front of so many people i do not know. Its like my relationship with God is finally back together after being shattered for so long. i know life is hard but when i hear this song i feel like everything will be fine as long as i walk with Jesus Christ right by my side. God has put this shattered life back together :,)

@sayheypastry Well as a Christian myself we are here to teach and show God's Grace and love to everyone. So even if someone isnt a believer of that they are still taking the time to listen to a Godly type song. It means also experiencing ultimate mercy and grace, something He yearns to bless all with. No one is deserving of these good things, so that's why we can't help but praise Him when we recognize it! @EstefaniHernandez45 It's not just skulls, but fighter jets, bombs, liquor bottles, guns, etc. I believe the message is that these things represent us, our hate, violence, addictions, and ultimately death. However the end result is that Jesus redeems us and makes us "Beautiful Things".

@sayheypastry Well as a Christian myself we are here to teach and show God's Grace and love to everyone. So even if someone isnt a believer of that they are still taking the time to listen to a Godly type song. In a way it is opening up their mind a bit even if it doesnt do much its something and its a start to understanding God's unconditional love for them. I hope this helps :)

But also, God is a good God. But it is interesting right, why do we give God all the credit for the good and no credit for the bad? Well, let's think of a place that does not have any good at all: Hell. Why is there no good present there? Because our God is not there. I hope this gives a little clarification.

@EstefaniHernandez45 It's not just skulls, but fighter jets, bombs, liquor bottles, guns, etc. I believe the message is that these things represent us, our hate, violence, addictions, and ultimately death. However the end result is that Jesus redeems us and makes us "Beautiful Things".

Ever since coming to college, I have faced many trials. In the times of trials I have felt the despair's grasp on my soul dragging me down. I have been fighting with that despair and through my small victories over those trials, I have realized that I have been becoming new and God has been remaking me. Changing me into a better person.
