I was raised a Catholic, but I never really believed in the faith, and I've been seriously considering converting to Islam. One question I have is if it would be offensive to Muslims for me to wear a head scarf and modest clothing before I have said the Shahadah? I agree with the concept of Hijab and I think it's a good idea, even if I am not completely ready to submit to Allah. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Modest clothing is not something exclusive to Islam..of course you're welcome to try the headscarf before you convert, if that's what you want to do go ahead. Not only that, as a Muslim woman, I would applaud your intention as well as courage to do it.

I just tried this look right now and it's amazing! I love it. I tried it with a pashmina as I don't have any if your opaque hijabs and it surprisingly worked really well.

@idahaz asalamualaikum :) i suggest to tuck it inwards, or outwards (kind of fold it), either of the two. my hijab style looks exactly like this but i use a simpler method :P when it gets loose i just fold/tuck it.

and that style suits you so well, sad news on my part though it didn't work with my thin scarves or even my drape one's, the think scarves are too short at the end to complete the hood and the drape hijabs...will they make me look too jedi and bulky from the top :p
