Thats what i love about madness, it wasnt all about 'baggy trousers' there were serious tear jerkers that tugged on the old heart strings. No doubt about that. Its a rare gift to be able to make people laugh one minute and cry the next, madness just have that ability.

Maybe, but at the time they did this they thought it was going to be their last album together. The band was splitting up, and they were being talked about in some parts of the music press as being past their best (which was a bit unfair, but that's what was said by some journalists).

Luckily for us they kept getting back together to do even more new music! :-)
