In my opinion, your weight is not excessive, the pony plan works in background and not bumpy. Some negative comments were excessive. I like the pony who live and work together in close contact with humans. Who speaks of abuse or mistreatment does not know what it's about.
Don't listen to those German knowitalls ;). They don't understand the power that lies behind such a tiny horse. I also have shetland ponies and these ponies are amazingly strong and have a huge amount of stamina.
^^ don't mind them, i know my ponys ;) for there size they are STRONG and this one at least gets his exercise! my pony is much bigger than that one but he is much saller than my larg thourobred mare and he can get quite head strong. when he does it's hafrd to keep him from turning the way he wants, this pony seems to have no problem with this cart at all! if u look at his ears they are up :) he is enjoying his little task :) how adorable!:D

@MusicIsMyLife3011 It's not forbidden in Germany, don't tell lies. Also this pony has no problems at all pulling the small cart because it's in balance. Saying it's forbidden in Germany is a lie, I live near Germany and I've seen a LOT worse over there.
It's an A class miniature horse or a pony. I have B class miniature horses and they are up to my waist in height. I'm 5'6''. Some horses are built for pulling. Miniature horses and Ponies included. It was a little much with the dog, but carrying two people on a cart isn't that bad. Horses can pull their own weight. It's when a 300 lb person tries to ride a shetland pony or smaller that I get pissed.
@anne0203 its not cruel our weight is about 100 kg. He's walking on the road and he is in a good condition. These ponies are very strong and the carriage has no weight at all whenever it rolls. Sometimes we have to use the brake.

Helaas wordt dat wel vaak gezegd en doorverteld, waarop iedereen vervolgens denkt dat een mini shet met gemak 5 man kan trekken.. Maargoed, het idee is duidelijk haha!

5 yrs old. And this was his firs driving. We bought the sulky and we went for a walking he did as if always have done it. He was enjoying the trip and so we did.
