But if you want to increase Gross Margins (Profits), Just follow Wal-Marts Model, They mad 405 billion last year, And made profits of 110 Billion. There Gross Margin alone is bigger the AT&T & Coca Cola's Revenue!
@deedundone It's funny that you would say that. Last night I was talking to my cousin who works as a cashier for Wal-Mart. She was giving me the inside scoop on employee treatment. I took notes, And Let me tell ya, if they did simple things, Wal-Mart would be so much better. They don't give enough hours, which result in employees having attitudes. And, Employees get the feeling that there "Going nowhere, fast" because promotions are RARE and there's nothing to work toward but a few dollars.
@IBloodSweatTears Yeah, As A cart pusher at 2 different stores, and an unloader and backrrom inventory assosoaite, let me tell you the only jobs I didnt do in the store, I was never allpwed to be train as a cashier because then I would make a tiny bit more and actually have to work a little but less, and I was never in the position to be a manager. On the other have I did about 35 thousand other things every minute, it was exhausting for the little that I made. I was only full time for a month
@IBloodSweatTears I was part time for 5 months and 2 months at a different store. And full-time one month before I realized that they were literally destroying my tendons and ligaments and tissues because the job work load was that intense. One day my "team leader" Who never did a god damn thing but hide around in the store told me to "pick up the pace" one to many times, and i had had enough. Despite other times where i ended up crying in the bathroom for 30 minutes because of those idiots....
@IBloodSweatTears I finally decided to quit. I didnt care if I went bankrupt of had to mooch of my grandmother, I would surly find another job or cancel all of my bills, anything to get out of there! The manager that took my written resignation offered me other jobs and train and I probablly should have taken it, only a hand ful of managers actually respected me. the others were jerks. Well anyways, Finally got 1 interview in 3 months of nothing, Hopefully getting a Job At TARGET. :)
Great information here, Thanks!
